The Danuar Reliquary instance is a relatively easy instance however there are certain ways to be followed for a more fruitful finish. It is an instance located in the northern-most part of the Idian Depths. Designed for 6-man (group), this instance drops pretty cool armors and headgears depending on your class. There is only ONE(1) boss in this instance but the fight consists of 3 phases.

    In this guide, readers will:
    1. Know which specific classes they need for this instance.
    2. Learn how each specific class should contribute in this instance.
    3. Learn how the 3 phases of the fight works.
    4. Pretty much learn how to beat the instance.

    1. A tank

    Recommended class – Templar

    Situational classes – Aethertech, Gladiator

    What to do:

Phase 1: Taunt and focus all the mobs’ aggression on you. When the boss spawns, tank the boss and keep taunting it as well as tanking all the other minions that the boss will spawn. Kiting is also an ideal choice just keep all the aggression on you and let your bruiser kill the minions for you.

Phase 2: Keep tanking and taunting the minions until they’re dead. When dead, use your extend weapon and proceed to dps on the clone standing on the 6m platform.

Phase 3: The boss will start spawning THREE(3) minions at a certain interval. Be ready to taunt and tank them for your ranged dps. In this phase, kiting is a MUST. Your healer will be spreading heals as the boss will also start doing heavy frontal AoEs so taking in minimal damage is essential for the group. Be always on the lookout for minions attacking your ranged dps and/or healer, this can be bad when groups of minions pile up on them so it is best to keep them away from the other group members aside from you and your bruiser.

    2. A bruiser

    Recommended class – Gladiator

    Situational classes – Sorcerer

    What to do:

Phase 1: Dps hard on the boss until minions are spawned. When your tank starts taunting the minions, focus on killing the minions as fast as you can. You don’t want them piling up and zerging your group do you? [IMG]

Phase 2: Pretty much the same as phase 1. Keep killing the minions that pile up on your tanker. When minions are down, proceed to dps on the clone standing on the 6m platform with your extending weapon.

Phase 3: When a big number of minions start spawning, stick to your tank and kill the minions as fast as you can as to keep the minions from piling up. Keep the dps on the minions; drop them one by one if you have to. Drop a few cleaves on the boss for extra cheap damage. When the tank dies, you should be the next in line to tank so DON’T DIE until the tank is resurrected and fully recovered.

    3. Ranged Damage Output

Recommended classes – Ranger, Gunslinger, Sorcerer, Spirit Master

Situational classes – Cleric, Song Weaver

    What to do:

Phase 1: Dps the boss as hard as you can. When the boss appears on the 21m platform, you guys will be the only source of damage not to mention the 15 minute time limit when the boss spawns. So dps as hard as you can and keep it constant.

Phase 2: Focus on the witch that says a dialogue. This determines the real witch. Once killed, a fresh group of witches spawn again. Take note of the witch that says a dialogue and focus on it again. Do this 3 times from the start of phase 2.

Phase 3: Same as in phase 1. The boss will appear on the 21m platform. Dps hard and keep it constant. When the boss starts spawning minions, make sure to let your tank know if you’re under attack so he can taunt it off you.

    4. Healer

    Recommended class – Cleric (MUST)

Situational classes – Chanter, Song Weaver

    What to do:

Phase 1-2: Use Winter’s Circle as the boss mainly uses water/wind element attacks and skills. HEAL. Spread your heals and dispels as the boss uses area of effect(AoE) and damage over time(DOT) skills. Drop some cheap ranged dps on the boss when you can. You’ll need as much damage as you can.

Phase 3: NEVER let your tank die on this phase. It is essential for the tanks to be kept alive during this phase to avoid the zerg of minions to kill your ranged dps and/or you. Heals and dispells for the boss’s damage over time skills are needed

    Specific Platform Height:
    Red - 21 meters
    Blue - 17 meters
    Purple - 14 meters
    Yellow - 10 meters
    Green - 6 meters

    Phase 0: Warm up
When you get inside the instance, there will be 3 mobs waiting for you. After the last minion is killed, the boss will spawn starting the 15 minute timer for the instance. Note that if you fail to finish the instance within the 15 minute timer, the boss will disappear and there will be no drops.

    Phase 1: Hello, Modor!
The boss will spawn in the middle. Teleports and appears on the 21m platform, spawning minions and appearing in the middle again until dropped to 25% HP. By then, the boss will use a skill called “Rend Space” signaling the start of phase 2.[

Phase 2: Wow, meny clones. Such multiply!
Clones will appear on the 21m, 17m, 14m 10m and 6m platforms. In this phase, you will have to figure out which clone is the real witch which can be determined when a certain clone says a certain dialogue. Killing the clone that speaks a dialogue 3 times will end phase 2.

    Phase 3: U mad bru?
The boss will spawn right in the middle, enraged this time. Taking out 10% of her HP will result in her teleporting on the 21m platform; spawning 3-4 minions at a certain interval and dealing frontal AoEs as well as DOTs.

When the boss is killed, a treasure box spawns right in the middle of the map. Open it and receive your rewards one by one.

Modor’s Equipment Box – Opening this box will give you 1 out of the 4 sub boxes.

Modor's Armor Equipment Box - Contains eternal-grade armor pieces and headgear depending on your class

Modor's Mythical Armor Equipment Box - Contains mythical-grade armor pieces and headgear depending on your class.

    Modor's Weapon Box - Contains eternal-grade weapons

Modor's Mythical Weapon Box - Contains mythical-grade weapons

Danuar Reliquary Expedition Box – Contains random ancient and/or normal manastones, idian enchantment stones, fire motes, etc.

    Armor sets are as follow:

you don't need mr for the instance. most of the damage intake will be coming from the minions that the boss will spawn.
