Great news everyone! I was able to score that microwave so I was able to upgrade my gaming rig!

As a bonus I was also able to eat the potato.
However, it tasted pretty nasty, so lesson learned don't eat an old potato that you have been using as your gaming rig for the past 3 or 4 years.

But the microwave is working great and it appears an old friend of mine has a CRT TV he doesn't need anymore so with fanangling maybe I can get that and upgrade my rig again!

If I keep this up I'll be able to have a setup that actually has a real computer!

    Hello peps!
I'll start off with my rig, which is not high end gaming but at least I enjoy triple A games like The Witcher 3 & Star Wars Battlefront at ultra settings at 1440p resolution and 144hz, which is really good for me. My rig is mainly for gaming, Netflix & Chill, Manga & Anime and some web browsing. I have a PC part picker list but I'll post it here too for those lazy bastards. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WwgFCy
    I'll start with the specs:
    Skylake i5-6600K OC'd @ 4.5Ghz (x45) stable at 1.256v water cooled
Corsair H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
EVGA GTX 1070 SuperClocked OC'd at 2175Mhz GPU clock offset & 4404Mhz Mem clock offset
    MSI z170a SLI plus motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16gb RAM (2x8GB) DDR4 2133Mhz (I know 2400Mhz its a minimum requirement at DDR4 but I like to OC and thus the low Mhz)
    Kingston SSDNow UV400 240GB SSD
    WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM HD
EVGA 750W 80+ Gold cert Semi-modular ATX PSU
    Corsair 400c mid ATX black

    Asus MG279q - 27" 2560x1440 @ 144hz (OCd at 165hz but skips framrates)
Logitech G910 orion spark mechanical keyboard (really really good, I expected something so-so and got amazed at how good this keyboard is)
Razer Naga Chroma green limited edition.

the thing is, my corsair 400c doesn't support 280mm rads on the back, it only supports 240mm. So the only way was on the front and tbh, I have amazing temps, you can see my cpuid, I thought it was gonna run hotter but it didn't.
