Spam Threads

If you see a spam/advertisement/phishing thread, just ignore it, and please stop posting something in them. We know, you have a witty response saved up. We know, this is your chance to show those damn bots that will never read your response anyway how funny you are and/or how much you won't get their product.

We already know everything you might post in any of those threads, so save the joke for another thread instead of bumping it. By responding to the thread you're not only sending it back to the top of the most recent threads, but you're also adding credibility to the thread just by responding to it so it's more likely someone might actually click the damn link.

Just..stop. Take 2 seconds to think "maybe my response isn't the most hilarious thing people have ever seen and I could live without submitting my post", and don't do it.

There's no end to such threads. Sometimes I have to delete more than 10 threads per day.

Thank you for raising awareness regarding this issue, they're quite nasty. I'm still waiting on that mineral water one to post, I wanted some of that

Anywho, as it has been somewhat said above, reporting such thread and ignoring it is the best thing to do. It will get noticed by us faster and will get deleted faster. We are always aiming to keep this forum bot-free however sometimes we aren't always around to notice such activities.

I think I spam the report button almost everyday about those threads.

 

I don't want to be Dementa. I just like his ex-avatar and signature. Don't worry, I asked him if I can use it.
