    Hello again.
Whats the use of Augmenting and Conditioning?

I went to an Augmenting officer somewhere in Katalam and augmented my armor only until level 2.
I dont see anything new to my item.

I havent try the conditioning yet but whats the use of them?
    Thanks.

If you read the stats. When you augment an item you gain the stats of the level of augment you use. If you get level two, you get both special stats.

    Same for conditioning.

For the arbiter dagger, you get hp, accuracy, attack, Pvp attack, and critical strike.

On the bottom of certain (Most nowadays) items,, there's additional stats and effects that can be gained via conditioning and augmenting. If you pay to have an item conditioned, then you gain the additional stats. Conditioning items deteriorate over time, so you have to go re-condition them every now and then. There's specialized NPCs to help with augmentation and conditioning. An example is like the one below, if you do not condition it, you just get the regular stats. But if you DO condition it, then you gain the extra stats at the bottom (PVP attack, accuracy, crit strike, HP, attack). Each extra stat varies per item.

The difference between conditioning of an item, and augmenting of an item, is simply the cost.

Conditioning an item costs kinah, however, only a few items have conditioning, such as the 60 Coliseum sets, WOC 1/2, etc.
Augmenting an item costs Abyss points to do.

    Example:

    Thanks for this information.
So conditioning is temporary, what about the Augmenting? is it permanent?

    Yes.

    Augmenting uses AP
    conditioning uses kinah

You can not choose what to do. Your item can either be conditioned or augmented.
