The part about playing temp is valid. Switching to shield on glad is a waste of time for a weak 2sec stun, not really worth spending the other 3.5k for the shield.
Parry is quite useful, always nice to get a random proc from undergears and then a 3k heal from counter leech or spite strike.

Bottom line: Parry if want max efficiency and are sure you won't play temp, otherwise block.

Havent really played glad since 3.1 but using shield switch was very very useful then at least for me when i got some shit like a 20 second blind or anything else i couldnt pot. Saved my ass multiple times. Parry against low gear? yea ok ur gonna 3 hit them if they are that low gear anyways. And if thats not the case then its probably because they are an mr build or some shit and in which case they will just resist the parry skills. But again my knowledge on the subject is over a year old. Btw do u know how much damage i can do in 2 seconds of stun ? that will always land?? :3 lul. And the Shield toggle while its not as good as templars still helps quite a bit.

I mean shit like ffa or general outnumbering, it even procs on full arbiter (despite the person i was testing it with having 200more accuracy than my parry, go figure)
Yes, i will 3 hit them but i'd rather have one of those hits return back a decent heal from a previous fight or whatever.

btw do you know how much damage you're missing out on during the time you backpaddle like a retard, switch your weapon AND toggle on shield defence? :3

Way too damn much to make it worthwhile, instaed of doing all that cuntsy stuff you can just lockdown them, not like you'll get a block on magic classes anyway so same result. Also not to mention you wouldn't be able to use any decent skill like a kd/aether.

You will not parry anything from a sorcerer so saying that parry will increase stumble chances is just straight up a wrong info.

I guess I didn't express myself correctly. I was referring to the fact that the more parry you have, the more chance you have of random parry procs, hence you will be able to stumble your opponent via Spite Strike.

Yea, I get that you were trying to say this on your first post. What I meant with my second post is that you can't generally say that more parry means better chances to stumble like what that AM said because as I said it's misleading since you can't parry magical attacks.

The AM should have at least specified that it was the case only against melee classes.

Hi, i play glad as well, yes parry is good but block is awesome too with shield counter it can stun the enemy even if it has Stone skin or UD. I used many sets depending on the situation u can just stay on one type of set, you have macros that will help u on changing. :) just an opinion
