Please be careful

Everyday I go online, I enjoy watching other people shouts/LFG. Then I noticed this some kind of trade scams wherein one is selling an item and is looking for a certain item to trade it with (example: WOC2 = ea dagger + sword +20,etc.) and the other one is selling the item that the other is looking for, If the trade is too good to be true then it isnt, only 1 owns both toon. Please be careful in trading. IGN's that ive recorded so far: ely side (Yohj, Sageline, Cybertrone).
PS: sometimes they waste your credits too, then logs out so be careful.

theyre usually trading Woc2 Clean. I encountered this player name ''LIEK'' who trading hes Woc2 for EA Harp earlier. So i guess he was scamming people. Also my friend experienced this. They wasted my friends credits for nothing. They log out and booom!

If you all have screenshots of them trying to scam you i'll be happy to take them so I can nuke them.

 

It's unfortunate how frequently players these days come across people like that, however it's nothing new around here.
People who tend to do this usually are smart enough not to use the same character more than once. That's also one of the reasons why it is difficult to catch them, especially if they are playing from an internet shop where there are more people. Years ago I fell into the same mistake when I was so desperate to trade all my stuff in rush before the expiration of my VIP. Thus, learning from the mistakes of the past, today I would probably make sure that the player I am trading with is an active player. These characters notoriously are newly created toons/accounts and they don't bother wasting their time on leveling up. They may claim to be only "alts" because they have no dual accounts, but the real reason is they don't want to run the risk of getting their real account caught by anyone. So instead of trading with some random level 65 rank 9 toon without even a legion that you have never seen and never will after the trade, what I would do is make sure to have a ready conversation saved in my Screenshots folder containing the full conversation with their main character (a visibly active player, rank etc.) about the agreement, and the name of the random toon he/she wishes to use to do the trade on the opposite side. Other than that, don't be too naive and fall for any kind of offer, there are many people out there who would and will try to screw you over in real life as well.

 

Smart enough to create a new toon but too dumb to be shouting the same stuff even the emoticons used are the same.lol

you should have to take the Time and Date of it, so that our staff members or even headGm's would radically take some time with these people..
i actually have this kind of problem before, yah i got scammed coz i really dont know how to trade items... Yah i mean it, im a donator also....
And advice for those players who have gone through this problem, be CAREFULL always........

One thing to remember is try to look at the shouts/LFGs. Its a bit weird when X is selling a specific item and Y is looking for that item, on a normal basis X should pm Y, vice versa, but it seems both of them are blind to each others shouts. Whenever i see these kind of trades, I always spam their names, hope you guys do the same, lets help each other for a healthier community.

Try to record or screen shot each time u want to trading...
Most of them use dummy account..so doesnt matter if staff kick them

i knew it that Sageline and Cybertrone is a scammers..hahaha... last time i saw that sageline looking for a rebel chain set since i have the set i tried to pm'ed him and ask what is his/her offer for it..he/she said he/she's willing to buy it for 2k credits so i offer him/her but he/she insist he/she said buy the rebel set from Cybertrone then lets deal..my reply is LOL and ignor his/her spam pm ...
