GamezBDO task crashing BDO with 98-99% CPU usage.

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has dealt with this issue or knows of a fix.
If I go to AFK I get this error (mainly when going to tray)
The GamezBDO Task reaches 98-99% CPU usage & under 500MB ram usage while BDO stays under 12% with 1.7GB RAM used.
No AV or firewall is in effect.

 

I get this if I am try to click on tray icon, sometimes. And btw, you can still play if do not click `Ok`.

 

Yeah ideally i would love to ignore it, but this happens and for crashes BDO anyways.

Hmmm, Interesting.

i7 6700k 4.0ghz
16gb ram
GTX 970 stock speeds.
Win 10 - 1709 OSb: 16299.431
All drivers up to date.
So BDO will crash because of GamezBD - Games BD will throttle the FFFFF outta my CPU and legit lock my pc to a crawl until GamezBD task has been ended.
BDO itself will use roughly the same amount of CPU and ram as you.

Won't crash if I don't send it to tray or use "show desktop" from windows.

 

For the quota error: avoid mousing over the gamez icon in tray, but instead use the bdo icon.
For the second problem, you can log out of the gamezbd launcher and go to settings in the upper right corner, then turn off seeding there. The problem is that sometimes when you are allowing your launcher to seed for others, it can cause this. Turning it off helps alot.
