Revert Black Star Weapons changes back.

There was no logical reason why the Black Star Weapons enchantment got harder. If anything it kept the Black Star market healthy.
Then changes were leaked out and everyone bought everything.
Then prices started to drop as there was no more supply (this is how the CM works some odd reason).

And now we are to the point of our entire Black Star Weapons economy is crashed and burned to the ground. Only the newest classes have PEN Black Stars Weapons for sale due the prices are still high (sadly there is no demand as it is already met), but with the other classes there is no market.
CM needs strong injection of the supply and that is only possible if we revert the changes to the Black Stars Weapons back, by increasing the Enchantment values and with this give players ability to start seeding market again and increasing the price again.

If nothing will be done, then nobody will ever sell Black Stars ever again and one of the bigger silver sink will be gone.

 

just normalize the price,manually set new blackstars(guardian and hashashin) to same price as the rest of the blackstar and the problem will sort itself or would have never even happened if it was done at release.
I understand making a mistake 1 time with guardian but again with hashashin? When u release an item variant at 33b when the rest are at 10b or lower and link the prices,its gonna go to shit.Ik most gamez mods dont play bdo but it seems like they really either dont care or have no idea of how the market is working. retail blackstars,all of them have identical price and here we have guardian at one price,hashashin at another and the rest at yet another.
even if u argue that its due to ppl overstacking on blackstars,this has happend before with guardian blackstar and there was no enchancement change back then.
if nothing is done,by the time blackstar market fixes itself,a new class comes out,devs repeat same mistake and market is gone down the drain again.

 

This completely destroyed the CM for black weapons, nobody sells them anymore its getting ridiculous. How people are going to get them if the prices tank themselves down?
The change was stupid to the core, why change something that worked well? People now do not enchant any BS weapons for profit anymore.

 

Wrong market prices were reported around 7 months ago and it was completely ignored so I believe it stays like this on purpose - somehow u have to sell weapon exchange coupons.
Enhance rate changes would be good if it was done while first time implementing blackstar weapons not when whole server is already flooded with them. Now u only demotivate potentional new players, so they rather buy account or quit.

 

The prices for BS should be manually raised up or this situation will persist till the next major update and market reset. The weapons got much more precious so selling them at around 3.5B is plain lunacy. And this results in a catch-22 where the price is too low to justify putting them up, resulting in a drying supply which in turn tanks the prices even more. If min price is manually raised to 10B or so, there's a good chance listing will resume and the problem starts correcting itself.

 

The price tanked because nobody is upgrading these weapons for profit anymore.
The change completely destroyed the market, supply went down to 0 and nobody sells them, and market in BDO naturally decreases price when there is nothing to buy.
Kolka sabotgeda his own server with the latest enchanting chances change. Understand they cannot change in-game files, they have no control over source code and wont change the price, unless BDO devs change them.
What happened is the consequence of making it harder to upgrade, it takes way more resources to upgrade and makes it more expensive than its worth.

 

There is right now 0 PEN Black Star weapons for sale for any class right now in EU server... entire market just stalled and crashed fully now. Every class has around 6 or more pre-orders. So there is demand, but no supply.

One might argue that well go and enchant yourself , how about no. Let me play the game as I want to play and if I want to buy everything and avoid the crazy casino simulator as what bdo enchanting is, then it is my choice.
Then someone will say, well just buy some other class weapon and use coupon. Use coupon on what ? If there is 0 weapons for any class.

It is sad and I do agree, that it pushes people away from the server.

 

I'm playing on NA, but I predict that Shamsir (and Battle Axe too?) are listed in large numbers and this sell pressure causing price drop.
What is this price gap?
Can someone confirm that this is happening on retail too?

 

On retail when class gets released they just make completely unlinked price for their weapons. They have their own price and no impact on other classes.
After some time they just sync all weapons to same price for every class.

 

We may be able to report this as a bug.
GamezBD is supposedly intended to work the same way as NA(EU) retail iirc.

I don't know who has closed this thread, but it's weird that Kolka hasn't responded to this.

 

Actually it is not supposed to work the same way, because grinding spots are harder, sometimes 50% more harder than the retail.

 

That's because they can't pull accurate data from retail.
Sure they sometimes make intentional changes. (like caphras npc price, theiah's orb...)
However, they basically do so. So whoever has retail account it's worth reporting this issue.

 

Let me disagree with the majority.
BlackStar weapons are available, on the NA server.
Data from yesterday.
Several to a dozen or so in each class.
But, most of them only upgraded to PRI, a dozen DUOs, a few TRIs.
There are even some TETs.
Considering that a weapon mission can be done once per character, that's a pretty decent result.
And here we come to the point.
Not enough resources for improvement.
Mass of Pure Magic, one node. And depending on the employee's level, it takes 12-24 hours to extract one. And sometimes he will fail.
Either Stars End Farm or Ash Forest. If you're lucky, you'll get a few more.
Personally one, I repeat, one, I have dropped Mass of Pure Magic on a fresh form, probably Striker, 10lvl, on wolves. Even before the first Imps.
To this day, I have it framed on the wall of my residence

 

Keep in mind you can produce mass of pure magic by using the Remnants of the Rift and Black Spirit's Claw, so the lack of materials is not an issue.

But the preorders sometimes go into the hundreds.
I omit the point that then such a stone costs about 85 million.
And the Claw spots are pretty crowded.
