assassin good for magic boost?

is it good for an assassin to place a full (magic boost) MB on its socket?

nah really, the only magical dmg you make is rune explosions. so no, it isn't worth to make it.

depends on your set, but try to have like 500 crit and the rest on atk

Most optimal Sin build... Sin is based on fast attacks (AAC/weaving) + skills/runes but massively "fast repeating physical attack". So keep Oath of Accuracy with you for MR builders... Catch minimum 540 Crit. (Soft-cap afaik thanks Aecoon) + rest attack; as Xikoaoyama wrote.

Magic boost is certainly a "need" but not your "base" so far, don't stack it better.

* You don't need EVA, since leather set is already has high-evasion in its build {plus} you've enough evasion supporter buffs.

* You need high-attack; you can increase your Crit. by using Crit. Scroll but it's not valid for increase your attack value, that's why ATK+5 is better.

* You need to keep your base valued the most near Soft Capacity. It's not about 3x pieces X-Manastone, 2x pieces Y-Manastone. Your base is Attack/Crit.Attack so you need to keep them near Soft-Cap and do whatever you want with rest of free-MS slots at all.

Depend on what set you're using to say "enough/good/bad" for stat-values after using the mentioned manastones in your post. {plus} @PivotNoir: EVA ⁞⁞⁞ MR is another good way.

 

there is a soft cap of 540 crit so anything above is mostly wasted crit% unless u get alot above it.

right now sins evade alot already so =). even more is insane. but fun. can also have MR to maybe counter magic classes or go attack to make more damage.

 

how about MB for 1 item(sword), Crit for 3 items(pauldron,pants,jerkin) and evasion for 3 items(boots,gloves, sword)
is this build ok?

same as rangers crit & atk.. or 50-50 percnt atk & defense

mb build would be nice if they fix the rune skills demage...
also change the mb in a sword and the evasion for atk manastones

 

that depends on some things & do note that a higher defense stat [evasion/m.res or parry] wouldnt make u immune to it.. it'll only hit u less than a certain hit

or.. u can always add more HP+95 on your set ~just adding another stat to add to ur math, but nvm

well, if i were u i'd go for the general / obvious killing type.. atk & critical ..stun lock & weave+skills is undoubtedly deadly

 

santino, my sin is full ABG, FULL socket atk +5 = 492/496 crit (without scroll) and 800/840 atk.. believe me, i never needed a MR build, u got more than enought skill to resist the key skills of magic classes, and the dmg is just awesome.

Go Full Crit on Main weapon..and Then Full atk on others
>> SO there you go Crit + 15 / +17 on ABG Sword ( Ex: Main >> Abg Sword / Off hand : Abg Dagger )..and then Full atk on set and the other weapon

Don't waste your time with evasion..its usseles...you can add some Magic Resist too..but not so much cuz you have already 3 skills of resist magic
