GM Impersonators

    GM Impersonators are becoming an increasing problem this past week with several players falling for this scam. I don't want you to fall for this so here is a screen with the most common method these people are using to impersonate:

    You will notice the character name is actually Admincheck - not Uty. If you receive a pm like this, simply press "t" to respond to it and you will see the character name.

    These scammers are threatening players saying they are checking for duping, etc. and saying the players must give their account and password. Please do not fall for this - a GM will never ever ask for the password for your account for any reason. I myself even would never come into the game and ask for your password for any reason.

    Anything that needs to be checked on your account, GMs have a command for and if for some reason they can't check it, I can. If you willingly give out your password to your account, there is nothing we can do to help you replace your items or account.

    I cannot stress to you enough to never give out your password to anyone, including staff, for any reason.

    Idiots who fall for that grammar & the way these impersonators are expressing themselves deserves to cope with the consequences ...

    Also if memory serves , there's an auto message popping out once in a while , saying a GM will never ask for your login details .

    While i do agree that all these impersonators must be punished.... I have to say that if you fall for it its your own fault too... THINK BEFORE YOU ACT!!!

    These impersonators are quite tricky and unfortunately some people do fall for it, especially if they are inexperienced players. That's why the guide was made, to hopefully help them to avoid getting tricked. :D
