Skill Exp Boost, Its lagging behind.

    Just hit lvl 62 but yet only have 1099 skill points when on retail people have 1600+ upon reaching 61-62. We are out leveling our skill points majorly

    Please increase the skill exp bonus to match combat exp bonus specially now we have Jin/absolute skills we need the points for.
    • Monster exp rates: 10x
    • Skill exp rates: 5x <--- Should be @ 10x as well

    Thats not the point. Also few hundred points an hour is not possible after 1,000 points sorry. Maybe you are over exaggerating. Sure polly and fahdus or whatever (new mobs in kamasylvia) are great for skill points but not that great lol. The point is we are still out leveling our skills and the "private server" bonus to skill exp needs to be adjusted to be equal to combat exp bonus rate.

    Will likely never happen, and skill point gain does not soft cap until 1600, not 1000. Not sure about retail's caps, but here you can jump from 1000 to 1600 in a couple hours in the right spots.

    You still are not getting the point of my post lol. You are also still over exaggerating your "couple of hours theory". Also soft cap is 500, hard cap is 2500, you start gaining 2 points per lvl at 1500 and 1 point per level at 1800.

    Its plain and simple, if combat bonus is 10x then skill points should also be 10x, being at 5x means we are not gaining the correct amount of skill points to keep up with our leveling, pretty common sense. Anyways, Im done trying to explain anything to you. This thread is a suggestion to the developers, not normal players.

    I can see where your name comes from. Of course I know very little about the topic, having only been gaming online for 18 years. Though, historically, most games with a differentiation between skill points and leveling have never shared the xp rates.

    Point of the post: Set Skill point rate equal to the combat experience rate to make combat training balanced in its gains.

    Fair point. Makes the combat exp somewhat of a x 7.5 multiplier considering the amount of skill points you lack behind.

    Note: There is a clear difference between skill points and skills here. With skills in the multiplier description they mean life skills. Skill points should be equal to the combat exp rate.

    Probably something that has been overlooked. I'll make them aware.
