What sets do clerics need?

if you're refering to the proc silence then it's something that should be fixed...then if we are talking about 1v1 portal you just need 1-2 kills as cleric and then can turn back to heal with block set.

 

When it will be fixed, then we can talk about any other build other than full HP or HP/Will. Unless you wanna risk going vs a melee on MB/Will set...

 

honestly it's something i did when i was cleric...3 parts know and 4 full health, hadn't such big problem on killing glads (except some with dual sword which was a bit risky) but if put blind on mace that will help on timing your dmg moments. It's like when use chant, you need to wait the right time before you start doing your stun lock combo (that's why chant has shield).

 

Well, I thought we were talking about fully geared ppl who know how to play their class. You can obviously kill the rest (newbies, random, still gearing up ppl, etc) even on HP set and an OP staff. And even if you can't they'll die of boredom while you're trying...

 

Nha i don't go for real against "newbies" and ofc i'm talking about both full geared (as it's supposed to be).

 

I'd love to see your cleric vs Grrr then...

Exactly. If you switch some parts to Knowledge you will simply reduce your defence without getting enough extra dmg though. I highly doubt it you'll have the time to exploit the extra MB vs players like Grrr, unless they get really unlucky with the gs proc. And don't forget that pro players won't sit and watch you switch gears... they will probably have a gear to respond to your (low MAcc / not even decent MB) set. MB clerics are only op dmg dealers in retail - the so called "wannabe sorcerers".

Off topic because I used as an example an op glad that everyone knows to explain why you can't go on the build you proposed vs glads? For real?

 

as i've said Grrr it's not the only "good" glad on the server, what more i'm pretty sure you might handle that kind of glad by rolling from full health to x2/3 knowledge parts and the rest health...if then you come telling about the OP gs proc etc then it's better stop.

 

If you are mentioning a build that works on other servers then I am not the one who is off topic. I am trying to highlight the fact that on THIS server there are other parameters more important than theory. You won't help the guy who started the thread by telling him to not count the gs proc as a critical parameter to choosing his gear, since 80% of the times a cleric dies is because of that! (Especially vs glads...)

Godstone proc % it's something that has already been reported long time ago. It needs a fix, we all know that ever 5% gs silence/blind or a simply 3/2% para has a higher proc % as now.

 

Exactly. We all know gs proc is insane so new players should know it too before they invest their credits to HP/Knowledge sets expecting to win vs fully geared glads.

 

Right...assuming the server it's populated by lot of Grrr players . New clerics, don't abuse on using some mb part if you're encountering Grrr followers.
