    You wanna lose weight and burn fat? Do cross training. Its probably the hardest type, but its better than cardio and a diet. Cardio builds your heart muscle, but it burns a lot of muscle as well. You end up looking really skinny and stuff. Its healthy to do, but it doesn't suit your purpose. Often times, you aren't even in the "fat burning zone" of cardio.

    As for a diet, I already explained how diets are counter productive. A diet alone will get you nowhere. Cross training builds muscle while burning fat, giving you that lean look ;o. Its definitely harder, some of the stuff you do (1 hand clapper push ups = death) is killer, but imo, its a good option to look into ;P

    Its pretty much just having a mix of strength training and cardio in your workouts instead of focusing on just one.

    Yeah, doing exercises that incorporate both cardio and strength training aspects. There's lots of creative ones, but yeah, they can be bad ;P

    No pain, no gain though.
