    aion is compatible with winxp but not gamez. and people can't update their os due to they are playing in net cafe or they don't want to update there os just for one game. beside lot of people still using winxp even though they got high aspect computer. you know why? i will not tell you the answer. try to find the solution for it. :D

    You are silly and annoying, that's all. Why should we bother banning you?

    We are one of the few private servers running Aion on 4.0, and noone of them around supports windows XP right now.
    We are currently working on a fix for the problem, but apparently it is much harder than expected. Right now the best thing to do is to upgrade your OS to Windows 7 / 8 , since Microsoft will not support Windows XP after 2014. You will be forced to upgrade sooner or later, and not just because of Aion. Not even talking about the fact that Windows 7 is way better than WinXP.

    Please calm down and avoid spamming our forums with you silly flaming posts.

    then why not making an announcement that the dev' is trying to solve the problem? so that people are not keep on asking and posting here? weeks has past but players have no idea if dev' are still interested to fix this problem. have you seen one?

    Just close this thread. Honestly i don't think the devs are gonna bother fixing this issue for gamez to work on winxp if as what deathangel said that it will no longer be available soon. The devs should be focusing on fixing bugs ingame rather that wasting time fixing this dying OS.

    When they update to win7 they are not just gonna be able to play aion. They will have a much much better experience with their OS. lesser bugs and better features :)

    most of xp users are playin from cafes tho which means lots of $$$ of the owner to spend to get a liscensed win7 to update all of the pc :) unless they risk it and hope no raid patrol goes to thier shop
