    Well to address the increasing amount of threads about how excited people are starting to get about 3.0 lets just have a central thread where you can all chatter away =p All random 3.0 threads are to be closed and directed here ^^

    Updating
    ​

    To update your client simply run the NCSoft Launcher and let it update. Once that's done you can grab the latest 3.0 item.pak file (Windows XP users may have issues) and you should be good from there.

    Make sure to delete the following directories if they still exist in your client:

    Aion\Data\USA\Items\
    Aion\Data\Europe\Items\

    After that's all done all you should need to do to connect to Gamez is run the GamezAion.exe launcher. The servers have finished updating so you should be able to connect now.

    Note: Users experiencing issues with Pando Media Booster (.dll errors at the NCLauncher) or those who just don't want the software to run in the background eating up bandwidth to torrent patch files can use this little script to disable/remove it.

    For most of you just double-click the file anywhere and it should execute fine. If you've got your game installed in one hell of a weird place the script will let you know and you can just drag the .vbs file into your NCSoft or Launcher or Aion directory and run it from there - should work at that point.

    It might actually be an hour after that... need to check if we're planning on observing daylight savings or not haha. Have to wait and see ^^
