The end of Aion's era.

EU has had its CBT going on for a while. I assume the people here have been participating.

 

Gonna be playing this.

I expecting some dramatic world ending comment based on the title. To be honest I don't particularly care much for high end graphics. I have always been the kind of player that prefers to enjoy a good storyline before I devote myself into a massive grind fest of any kind.

That is one of the reasons why I put games like Guild Wars on the top of my pedestal as there is no MMO that can compare to the extensive cross-campaign storyline that Guild Wars develops. Sure nice graphics help a lot as it's always nice to have something appealing to the eyes but a bad-ass entertaining storyline does it for me.

 

Most likely B2P. Buy the game, and it's yours to play without charge afterward.

 

GW2 for me. And Blade and Soul does look promising on the PVP side. But not keeping my hopes up since only very little of the whole gameplay is shown. They seem to have managed to make a hybrid between a free targeting system and the old targeting system. And it seems to work great during pvp too.

Teleporting takes ****ing hours to move from location to location. It annoyed me the FIRST time I did it. The horse was an immediate pissant.

 

Wait, tera isn't out yet. ._. right?

 

In korea yes,.... in the west? GL getting it this year, I'd be shocked at this rate.

 

It is, under CBT status in EU.

 

GW was a good game at the begining. Servers were full and all were having fun because of the unique PvP system ealry in the game. Eventually, like any other *firework* mmo game, GW died and the servers, which used to be on 'busy' mode, became more like 'ghost' servers with few people online.

GW2 will have the same fate with GW.

Can't really tell about B&S but having only 4 classes will bring many people down.

 

I see more people going back to GW for fun than most other MMOs.

It's not dead yet. At least not until GW2 is out.

 

You cant compare stats between 2 different engine/environment/stats games, thats naive and incoherent, if this game will beat aion.... well it all depends on the game history/gameplay (pvp/pve) and how developers keep their public more entertained, than on the graphics and that type of things..... no one has beaten WOW, and aion is entertaining (retail) tho tera only "looks" good and the gameplay idk... but im more looking foward to Blade & Soul :3

 

They are going back for the GW feature of transfering your data from 1st version to the 2nd one. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

u need to aim in tera so if u have 200ms + forget u cant play a minimun lag will make u miss the arrow/spell etc

 

Yarrrr if u lag even a bit its a *****.

 

Well that would be a pain on private servers o.o
If u dont live near its server location..
