Magic Resist Fix

To begin with, I agree Magic Resist is working perfectly fine. What is not okay is that everyone have too much of it. It's funny how, stunning an equally geared ranger which is a non-MR stacker, as you're full ABG is completely impossible without using any MA raising skill. Don't make me say sometimes you still fail to stun when you do use it. Which makes me think of the fact rangers have the only non-MR dependent stun, is that fair? So, practically any class (except for ranger, whose stun depends on if the skill was/wasn't evaded) must use important cooldowns for any other player in order to stun him. Some classes such as chanter don't even have skills like that (significant MA raising). So my question is, why can't I stunlock any more while having enough damage to kill during the lock? So, please bother to share your opinion about it here.

 

If u are a sorc , as i am ... i should know that going full mr its only posible on gamez ! So be grathfull that u got all those buffs for free ... ! U should go for at least 5 slots with macc ... and get at least 1.9k of it ...

If gamez had stigma sistem i assure u that u couldn't afford the 1k buff skill ! >.> Well depends wat tipe of player are u but if u like to solo ... trust me u couldn't afford it ...


Well on retail there are 5 classes that are worth to be played .... and i asure u that sorc ain't 1 of them ..

I don't have that problem at the moment, my shield bashes land 90% of the time, what I am pretty mad is that Shieldburst misses (When the description says WITH NO MISS CHANCE).

 

I was talking about myself as an assassin. Sorcs can't be full MR anymore as well, they need SoF for every guy they meet now .

Stun, Dranny, stun. Not stumble.

 

yah its almost no stun from sins @_@ but ABG give 1500ish MR now.. base MA sins 1k T-T i think they should increase it ;/

can't land any stuns now even with buffs + i stacked MA on my weps.....all those full MR clerics Loling at me all day long.

 

sins gonna be lacking attack if use that ;/ and need accuracy stone also for parry 100% absorb damage and ranger evasion ;s

ABG Glads were a pain to kill b4..now its pretty much impossible for me unless my godstones proc fast...even then..
ABG Temps are a lost cause....

Exactly, I had the AMAZING idea of changing my MA set to MR, and since everyone is MR I can only hit most of them when I use SoF, and that lasts for 20 seconds, so if I'm not able to kill them between those 20 seconds or I'm in the middle of a zerg, I'm screwed. The 2min CD doesn't help D:

Just like today.. I was with my friend in Heiron and we found that group of asmos that were easy but had this cleric with a huuuuge MR who was healing everyone, so it was impossible for me to kill him and then go on with the group:<

I went SoF, someone hit me, the cleric ran away, I hit him, he heals, my SoF ends, and then resist resist resist resist, the same story for 5 minutes.
Boring.. I'll go back to my lovely MA

i had ranger and with 1.4k mres i still can resist binding words from chanter, and sometimes (yes, sometimes) resisting stuns from chanter as well. i was curious, when pvping with chanter and all of the rangers resisted my binding words. i even stunned cleric a lot more often than i did to ranger.

 

Well its not messed up actuali .... but as a magic class its prety important to go at least 60% macc .. or at least to have more than a set !

Well clerics got that full mr build ,,,,, but i can say that mr its more best for a chanter ... as they could resist + could dmg mr users ! A mr cleric .. will not have this chance lol ...

If temps can't win with sins then who can lulz ! Anywai if u catch him winouth UD i think u got a chance ...

 

Meh, honestly, I blame the shitty developing on this server for all the problems. All this guessing at how thing should work is hilarious. Like the dev needed someone to offer proof that poison doesnt fold your wings but it does prevent them from opening. He doesnt KNOW things like this? The classes will never be balanced, there will always be some class that will own the **** out of you regardless, seems Gladiator will always be up there... wonder who plays one that really matters so much they will remain op... lol. Rangers might have stuns, but might as well unload traps and silence from their hotbars, they never land on anyone now. Shitty update, and you just lost more people.
