Oh, why doesn't my Seething Explosion hit 12k and why doesn't my Wrathful Explosion hit 10k? That's completely balanced, right? Wiping out entire parties with one spell.

Seething Explosion requires you to be 1 meter from target and Shadowburst can be 25 meters from target, shouldn't Seething Explosion hit more since you have to get up front and do it?

No it doesn't, you're just mad that you actually have to use two spells to kill someone, as opposed to the normal one spell. I've seen videos of sorcerers from 2.1 and I don't see why the hell you're complaining, even now. I saw every spell hit over 3k and most spells did above 4k. A lot of spells did above 8k with critical. If you were a sorcerer in 2.1 and you couldn't solo a group, there was something wrong with your character. Even when gladiators were at their most OP, their damage never even came close to half that.

This is not retail, you need to get that in your head. Gamez can choose not to make the same mistakes that NCSoft does, developers can freely edit or add the things that actually make sense.

That spell has a two second cast time and needs to be casted within one meter. If the target moves, the spell cancels.
Glacial Shard / Inferno / Pandemonium Focus / Flame Spray / Shadow Burst / Lumiel's Wrath used to hit way higher than 7k (and still do) and people said sorcerers weren't OP. Stop using Sure Strike as a counter argument because Sure Strike can be strategically evaded; whereas any of those listed sorcerer spells are nearly impossible to dodge using pure skill alone.

Why should it be understood that sorcerer is effective against every class?

Sorcerers need to stop complaining that they can't solo groups any more because they suck or get stumbled.

Nawh, my full abg sin gets hits for 3.3k crit by Big Magma Eruption, that has nothing to do with the weakass Delayed Blast.

 

Is gladiator's AoE really considered to be that strong?..

 

Elyos gladiators AoE's are nothing compared to Asmodian gladiator AoE's.

You don't even clarify what you want me to answer in your post. Now that you asked me to admit it, yes, it does hit a little high. It matches one sorcerer skill in damage.

 

Sorc Is So Nerfed and We All know that, Sorc cant even Kill templars/Glads with MR set and Sorc even Use all his/her mana Just to kill 1 opponent.

( Full ABG sorc with Magicboost weapon and MR set )
Glacial = 3.9k damage
Inferno = 3.1k damage
Flamespray = 3.1k damage
Instant Skills = 1.8k damage


WhEn templar is FULLBUFFS
Glacial = 2kdamage
Inferno = 2kdamage
Flamespray = 2kdamage
Instant Skills = 1k damage sometimes even 700.

While templars Hit 17,000 HP + 100% HEAL

While Templars Inflicts 1,000+ per attack + 6-9k Breakpower
