Alente actually have done so many things for this server ever since he started. Server was a little off when he left, when it came to fixing things and updates, he was always on it, from what I have experienced. So I don't understand why people are hating him. Just my two cents. By the way hello Alente. Glad you stopped by. I still remember you, when u raid gelk with your cleric along with Illusionist gang, and your legion Hackers. You might not know me, but I've always been a fan. =] Good luck with your life out side gamez.

he didnt do nothing to this community , all he did he been stolling source of others emu or just been applying patchs from one similar emu to gamez one , and he was calling it fixing be him self. also when the AE closed, he closed hes works too, because no morre fixes he can steal without changing whole emu, its making me lol.

 

I don't know what beef you have with him, but that's some serious accusations. I am not one to judge people for not knowing what had really happen. By the way he is just saying hello, he isn't attacking anyone, so just let him be. I'm pretty sure he didn't drop by to argue with you, and I am almost sure that he probably does not even know who you are. =]

Well I guess I have a minute to respond until someone comes and cleans up this silliness although I dare say the language barrier will be... determinetal at best to any discussion here but hell why not!

Well dearest Hell I popped in to say hello after Bella linked me to a strange little thread partially about me the other day, thought I'd check in and see who was still around that I knew. Sadly I still have some attachment to Gamez's old community, a trait that's caused me worrisome amounts of grief, so when I'm reminded of you lot I tend to want to come say hello.

As for sources to steal some elaboration would be swell! Are you referring to Gamez's source code? If so how exactly can I steal something when I was maintaining the repository for it?

Or are you perhaps referring to Aion-Lightning? (Or was it the one that came after that? Aion-Engine? It was the closed source one but I can't remember the name) If so then yes of course it's common knowledge I applied for a position on their team there, got accepted, commited a few of our fixes and gained access to the source files and I'd do it again quite happily. Doing that allowed us to have full control of how Gamez was run exactly to Carl's needs since their closed config files were insufficient for what we wanted to do.

Allow me to make this painfully clear as I did back in the days of Gamez, I am not a java coder - this is fact. The only reason I applied changes to our server was because at the time we had no coders so either Carl or myself had to push updates to keep Gamez running as NCSoft and AL/AE(whatever) updated. I got into quite a few lengthy fun arguments with Cakebaker at the time with him trying to, as a joke, corner me into calling myself a coder. If you go look through my old posts (may take you awhile I do have a few) you'll see I vehemently denied that over and over xD

Your aggression towards me is interesting and I am aware was propagated somewhat by a few new GMs when I left but sadly it is misdirected. I was never a coder for Gamez and you couldn't have paid me enough to be one. Not to mention half of these "Fixes" that you wish to blame me for were written by both myself and Carl, he and I were often up til ridiculous hours at night making sure the server would run as smoothly as we could manage to keep you lot happy.

Funny how people choose to perceive things they had zero involvement in though o.o
