R Templars good

Thinking of making templar i have heard they r good if u know how to use them but can someone post me a link to a good guide for a templar or if there is a pro temp on atm plz give me some tips on templars i have heard of going parry, m.r., and crit manastones and as well as carry greatsword and mace+shield just wondering if thats good

Joking. Probably the best class in Aion when used properly. They have MANY powerful buffs and huge survivability on the field. Templars can also pull targets to them for the kill and have a few long-range techniques for dealing damage now.

Templars also deal very good damage when equipped well.

Essentially the templar brings no real AoE's (which the glad does), but it has dramatically improved survivability and it also has great offensive capability.

I'd never go parry on a templar myself, but it sounds okay.

Templars should focus more on making use of that -BEAUTIFUL- shield they have which reduces damage severely, and they get a passive boost to shield block, as well as buffs that can help make shield-blocking more viable as well.

M.R. is -always- a good thing for a templar in my opinion, magic resistance buffs for the templar are few and far-between, seeing how their cooldown on their Aether Armor spell is large -large- _-LARGE-_.

They also get unwavering devotion, however, which makes them immune to stuns, stumbles, knockbacks, aether holds, aerial shackles, w/e... its a very useful thing templars and gladiators get.

I'd say for the greatsword, if you feel the need to put crit into it (since that will be your primary weapon for dealing actual damage and bursting targets down), put crit into it. But realize that you should be able to use potions and scrolls and food to raise it and fusing decent weapons will end up giving you a pretty high crit in itself!

Then for mace/shield you will probably want to socket either block or more M.R. stones, to take advantage of blocking or resisting more magic. that is just me opinionz.

Ive just played ranger and sins and sm and sorcs so much i bored trying to find something new thats fun and its mainly a healer cause i hate healing i want to go back to Sin but i heard they suck now since of getting nerfed

Chanters are very good... although they right now aren't looking quite so bright and shiny without good gear.

 

oh well then even though sins got nerfed r they still good

 

Templars are still good. Although right now you should socket MR 'coz atm block is broken. When you block, you block only so little than what your shield actually says.
