join torment u will laugh a bunch and make real friends. We meet in game 1 year ago or even more, some of us were elyos other asmos and we keep that friendship aside the different factions. Now in the same side we have huge fun.

Internet is a double edged sword when it comes to friends. Through internet you have a chance to meet people that you would prolly never meet in RL. But also it makes it easier for people to lie to you.

I've been through both. I've made some friends that I will never give up, but I've also gotten pretty harsh reminders that people suck.

The trick is to learn from the moments that seem so hopeless, moments that make you cry. But never close yourself off, or you might miss the people who care about you.

Take a break from the game, if it makes you cry. Remember all the good times and also the bad, cuz without the bad, we wouldn't know what is good. You're not alone, as we've see on this thread.

I can't tell you that it's the right thing to get up and leave, because friends come and go,
You have to detach and reattach others to survive emotionally especially in an online game.
this is what you havent done, you didnt make new friends to take the place of the old ones
some other thing, when you have a give-take relationship with someone it usually works but
a give-give relationship isn't friendship

I would say those "friends" of yours dont even know how to be a "friend" in right meaning... They dont deserve that word...But remember, the internet relationship is something like an illusion, dont rely on it too much, or behave like its really like in rl.. No, the majority of ppl dont think an virtual relationship like that is important to them...But doesnt mean we dont need to respect it. I can understand, basically through your words, you lack of love from family, and real friends, which it hurt you alot and you run away from that fact, to the virtual life, to forget about it... I was like you too Razz, 2 yrs ago, when i just broke up with my first bf. Tho he was betrayed me, but he's still my one and only... I was crying alot like you too. At that time, studying and gaming are all I care about, until now, nothing really change tho, perhaps only thing changed is i could smile again and forget the past... Still there's something i'm lucky to hav, its family, and friends, they encouraged me, helped me, and forgave me to w/e i've done... However, sadness never be got over so easily, i admit that... I wish you could hav enough strength to get over it, from now on...
