I may be leaving.

Well people.. I may be leaving the community, time will tell. Being a sorc i was kinda annoyed by the OVER nerfing of sorc damage. Sorcs needed a damage nerf but they went too far, but its a private server things cant be perfect eh? Well now theyve gone and made BoQ useless, making the cast speed with scroll +MB + vaizels wisdom the same as scroll + MB + BoQ.. so asmo sorcs are useless now? Elyos sorcs now have the same cast speed with +500 more MB.. hmm well this is pointless. As for now I will try to stick around and deal with being the softest class with now the third or 4th best DPS and broken CCs. But if this server keeps true to the path that it has taken so far I can only assume more sorc nerfs are on their way until the class is but a remnant of what it is supposed to be. Reroll another class? whose gonna trade for my ABG set now.. no one thats who. So anyways yea, this isn't a QQ thread its just expressing my plans for the future.

Short version:
Too many sorc nerfs for me, gone overboard.
Anymore and im leaving.
No trolling.

Only thing I can tell broken is flame spray and glacial damage...which evilset is working on.
The cast speed is capped at 70% just like on retail

They made BOQ Increase the casting speed by 25%? Like Vaizel's Wisdom Does? WTF?!
I'm going to check that right now.. and if they did... you don't want to know x)

 

Which is the reason why he's expressing his plans because Asmodians' BoQ is strongly affected. Retail, retail, retail like. Who seriously agreed with it? This aint retail for goodness sake!

They just capped CS at 70% at all.. which u can reach with vaizel + MB + scroll

I know but on retail the sorc damage isnt retarded... lumiels/vaizels wrath hits for 10k damage but glacial crits for 3k damage wtf? sorcs might as well just log in once an hour and dp then log out.. The 70% cap wouldnt be bad if damage wasnt useless

 

I just said it's capped at 70% which is the same as Vaizels + scrolls/glove/cast speed tome, but w/e.

rofl, at least u can kill, sorc dmg is still decent. I logged in today to find my chanter now doing 400s with MC, and 80s and 50s with meteor strike and hallowed strike. gawd this server never ceases to amaze me.

and boq isnt useless.. just aint insta anymore

They should put the Glacial and Flame back to it's original damage since Casting speed has been implemented. No more reason for those QQers to QQ more.

 

I think sorcys need fix badly but oh well dont leave over a little nerf like this sorcs are still playable, you can still pew pew even their 1v1 is still very strong personally i wouldn't mind a little fix on damage for glacial and casting speed but meh... its sins who need work.

Its retail like, and is simple
in retail you cant have so easly a tome/orb with cast speed of 20%
you cant have easly scrolls with 9% of cast speed
you cant have easly gloves with 8% of cast speed
you CAN have easly the stigma of BoQ or Vaizel

So is not easy to reach the 70% cap, this is just retail like, deal with it?
yeah the damage is nerfed,but ablazed said evilset is working on it.
but still is pretty good play with sorcer, with or without BoQ.
is just my opinion

We already are outnumbered.. now this too , so more ppl change to elyos. ffs >.>
I'm gonna talk to evilset.. if he doesn't change it back - i'm leaving too. This just sucks.

My problem isn't the sorc vs other class
it's the asmo sorc vs elyos sorc now.
It's like we have no skill and they have +500 m.boost/m.acc

 

He's fixing the damage, jesus christ it's not as if your class is useless.
So many people complain when their op'd class gets a deserved nerf, its lulzy
