Quick question about PvP

Hey guy's a noob here just wondering about some things hoping to get some quick answers from experienced players.

Question 1 : (not about pvp just wondering) I've been farming the core for a while, and I've found almost all my Elder gear except the chest piece, I am a templar and was just wondering if the elder plate chests even drops there?

Question 2 : What would be the first thing I should do to start gaining abyss points. I'm not pvp geared so I cant go out killing people just yet because I'm just not geared for that yet, what are my options?

Question 3 : Is there anything else I should be working towards other than abyss points as a templar?

1: Find a good legion that is into Instance entries, particularly DarkPoeta.
2:Go with the zerg, find where ur allies are concentrating and just fly around with them, hit people they r hitting and u'll get a partial of their ap earnings.
3ersonally I think an undergeared templar looking for abyss points is really bad. Mostly Templars in PvP should last longer than anyone and can really really tank. U'd have to be good at handling all ur skills to survive, and mostly get to entering instances. Tanker is a necessary class for PvE.

 

Yeah, so far I've only come into contact with highly geared asmo's, and they almost own me in about 3 hits, although its when im farming core and then get killed from my back from the air while im in mid fight with a mob.

Remember this are only tips, this will not progress u in being a good really good Templar. Once u have better gear, u'll find ur potential and maybe ask again. Coz really im not a templar although I know some of their skills and their purpose PvP-PvE-wise.

 

rofl.. 2. GO whit zerg.. rofl.. y 50 AP if get few hits.. xD.. 3. tanking not for templar here atm since taunts wasnt work like they should



1. DP,udas or BT you wasnt tank anyway.. since glad/sin have better DPS always
2. go pvp whit group of good geared ppls.. join good frendly legion.. ppls have hell lot AP here, but they not really need they AP since they already have ABG etc.. so you job is more like get atleast medals and make frends.. some1 of them can help you whit AP if its only problem between you and you PVP gear
3.on PVE would be nice to be in tank, but aslong you have sin or glad in you group you not tanking

 

the good thing is you can use your skills - your defensive skills in a zerg , even if your gear is'nt the best , Iron Skin, Holy Shield , Shield of Faith and Barricade of Steel will do the trick
and remember - you are only as good as your shield

 

dont forget empyrean providence and Aether Armor.. thats better than any1 else.. but need reach 2,4k+ mress thou to not be hitted always

 

yeah these are useful too

 

but the meanwhile till you can get abaut 2,5k+ mress whit AA dont even go close to zergs.. there always hell lot of sorcs

 

haha ok I didn't want to ask this because I feel like a total noob, but here goes... umm whats a zerg lmao and AA?

I know what MR is, I'm not mistaken it means magic resistance right?

AA= Aether Armor
Zerg= Group of people all together PvPing the opposite race.
