I have run out of shows to watch, and can not find anything near as good as my previous shows.
So! I have come for your help.
It's time you made a difference.

Well the Wire is a show directed by David Simon, it's generally focused on drug trade on the streets of Baltimore, but as the show progresses it becomes far deeper than it looks, it explains just how narcotics are being transferred to the streets, how the politics can be behind the scene, the lives of people in Baltimore and the realism of how they live, also the corruption in education and the police, how they are more interested in keeping their stats up instead of doing what they're meant for, this is shown in the later seasons, industrial development and how the poor will be sacrificed for the richer people and eventually show the back stories behind the media. The best thing about this show is the characters, all of them has their own story and they have probably the best character development in television history. I have never found a better show than this.

It looks promising. Is this a documentary, or a show? Seems a tad confusing.


Edit: @ Myvoice: I'll give doctor who a look. Yeah, SGU was one of my favorite shows of all time. Great characters, and amazing story. Every episode has you on the edge of your seat.

 

Nah, it's a show, has 5 seasons.

This is one of the scenes in season 3 when the police legalised drugs in Baltimore to prevent crime from happening as often as it did to keep their stats up for the new political election. I really thought this was a powerful scene in what it's trying to illustrate.

 

Game of Thrones, quite easily the best TV show I've seen since Band of Brothers used to play, its first season of 10 episodes just ended a few weeks ago but it'll resume under the name "A Clash of Kings" in Spring of 2012.

The entire thing is based on the book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, and its a sort of epic fantasy based around kingdoms, the wars between households and the growing threat of dragons and "white walkers", both of which are told to be gone during the story.

Yeah, it seems long shows outlive their greatness.

Deathnote was good, I stopped watching.
