Race Governor

What do you consider a "Race" Governor should be like?

I believe after seeing how a particular governor bailed out on a RvR event just because he didn't want to lose AP and left all his comrades behind to die, I think I'd really like to know what you think a governor should be like.

Besides the poll, you can give your own opinion as well

 

A real good player.... not just an AP farmer.

But of course you cant control that.

A governer should be someone with lots of AP

 

if this server was properly manage and balance then i would agree with this, but right now, you can be in a zerg and gain AP like hell... which doesn't really define that your good at the class at all.

sometimes ranked soldiers who solo/dou are more skilled than the highest AP classes, but then again some classes are good for zergings.

 

Well Governor should be like really good in pvp, thats all I care about, he shouldn´t have some responsibilty I would say.

 

Well obviously you're doing something right to be able to beat out the rest of the zergs to be able to be governer, right?

 

(Governor should not Die! is like a gang boss he never goes to the fights he let his generals or officers take over =P).....im just joking dude. i know your making this because you saw me use return. well ill tell u why, 1st of all i saw some one use DP skill in the event so useless to keep fighting, other thing my pt was already dead so nobody to back me up i saw the opportunity to not die and i took it that is all. you can call me a coward, AP farmer , w.e you like nothing going metter for me its just a game and that is all. tnx and im sorry for not letting you kill me next time ill stay and fight all so i can make you happy.

 

Governor = free ap for pro sins who run in gank squads.

 

you can actually play a ping pong zerg with out dying then get the governor rank and yeah stay the hell out in 1vs1 fights... lol. not really a good call for a governor right?

 

Governors should gain time limited seeds of transformations for killing high ranked officers.
They should not have any "responsibilities" towards their race but must still be on the front line of race wars.

well he is the race governor so i can safely presume he is the most bored guy on that particular race and has nothing better to do than pvping all day and night

 

Guys dont forget about that this thread was made coz an asmo governor used Return to escape death in an RvR event.

So I think participating then leaving an RvR and just coz u r a governor and dont wanna lose ap? Why did u even join. U didnt put effort in making ur race win. Every player who joined should do something not just leave.

 

like i say every one die? and i join for the fair fight but when a gm say no dp rule it mean no DP on the event but what people do?
And no i dont play day and night i only got 4m AP and i cant go up higher cuz i keep losing it =). and yea is boring cuz all trying to lightburst you =) but like i say its just a game relax people.

Why are you Governor then? A Governor should not rely on crafted scrolls/potions to win a fight.
And again, I like how Great General sounds. A lot more than Governor or Commander.

The DP skill that was used was a Healing DP skill that should have not harmed you.

Secondly, Asmodians used DP skills as well

Nomarcy used Destructive Trap, so what's your point? none from our side ran, we stood there and fought to the end.

We Elyos decided to give away the Win without going thru the chatlog at the moment because since one of us came out with it, we decided to play fair ans square and give it up.
