Ofc they do. But I'm more pissed when I'm there, taking the brunt of the zerg and see asmos running for the hills. And why it always feels like elyos catch to me faster than I ever catch up to them? Damn you lousy ping, damn you!!

governor... well, in chess, you dont put your king defenseless now would ya?

if you cant protect him and make him last a lot longer in fight he cant deal much damage or do much help too..

but in aion, each ppl think differently unlike in chess where there's only one brain behind the pieces..

so i'd say its a matter of trust.. if the governor thinks he'd survive because his with skilled ppl i'd think he'd likely fight to the death..

 

I know what you mean though. I can be a football field ahead of an Elyos zerg, using Run scroll, and sprint, then flight scroll and strengthen wings and fly away just to turn around and see the entire alliance right on my ass. I'm not sure if ping is the thing either D: I'm running like 100-120 average and still get caught up with like nothing

 

it was all the 25 people from RvR vs meeeeee alone all had die i was the only one left so i charge (glad skill to run) went far and use return to not die. is not like im the only one who does that even on 1vs1 people on abyss keep runing droping their wings and return or die all the way in the botton. i had never do that.

 

yeah it was just me on my templar.. vs 2 rangers + 1 templar.. in air fight.. they used sleep arrow on me and disappeared into eternity.

The "Governor" is supposed to be the Best Player on each side and fight to death of course. By running back , he is just ashaming his race. (Because most of the govs are ap farmers , not real good players).

 

People who are Governors in Gamez have spent 19310927397hours to get to that rank. It's up to them what to do. You can't change anyone. I voted for the 1st option. I don't give a damn if a no-lifer Governor is running away or not. I know that all my teamates -all my legionmates from Torment - will stand on my side till the last moment and this is enough for me in this game.

If he/she likes to go rambo and die for his teamates then it's all cool and you are all happy. But if someone runs away in fights to save his ap, you are all going QQ because you are left alone to fight.

Personally, ap farming is the most stupid thing to do unless you want to buy pvp Abyss Items. PvP for fun and not ap is a different story.

 

i consider my self as a good fighter but really what is good on getting DP lightburst all the time =)) sure i have to run this how the games work they see a gov. they call 20+ enemy to fight with can i take them all? oh deity is not working.sorry must run.

That's no Excuse. You join an event = you must fight , if you don't want to fight , simple don't join the event and let a player with balls to fight in ur place.

But noooo... you want the prize too , on the others' backs of course , you're a cool gov.

Next time someone leaves an event he must get punished , i'll talk to the other Staff Members. We really need some rules about this , it's getting annoying. If not punished , at least they should not receive any rewards if their race loses.

 

Their race won because of me using a healing DP skill.

Doesn't matter , he was just lucky enough to have good players on his side healing and stuff. The next time he might not be so lucky.
It's really not fair to pm the AM and ask from him/her to recall u for the event then return and get a prize.. it's like pming him and saying "hey put me in the names' list i want to get a prize but i don't want to fight".
It's called RvR , it's a Fighting Event , Everyone who wants to be in the event should fight. People who return/don't fight should be punished imo. They're taking the place of players that really need those rewards and would fight for their race instead of sitting back like a scared girl.

Anyway , we're getting off-topic , let's stop this convo.

 

What i know is that whoever is the governor in gamez i can own him in a duel 1vs1. If hes ANY class aside of sorc i ll rape him with my cleric,if hes a sorc,i ll rape him with my sin. Enough said.

I would like to add that when i dont pvp i see only basic titles,so pretty much everyone is same to me,whoever got cooler title wins. I only put abyss rank ON when i have a lighburst on my sorc and im picking to whom im gonna throw it. Highest abyss ranks gets my lighburst "buahaha". <--My point,that abyss rank has nothing to do with pvp skills.

I would like to add 1 more thing (last i promise xD). Im currently in need of abyss points because im buying primus pilus set. I have a ranger and im decent with it,but i realized that my wife gets ap faster cause shes a sorc. I made a sorc myself,and i have to say,IM A TERRIBLE SORCERER and my set is anuhart. But i managed today to get 600k abyss points in few hours,im currently rank 2 and if i pvp tomorrow i can get another 600k ap in around 3 hours just by zerging. Conclusion,me,a terribad sorcerer with a terribad set can go star officer and even general. What skill are we talking about here..Please..

 

sure let other player join who has ballz. who? gm to get players stay about 20-30mins searching for some and even lvl 37 had to join ^_^ cuz no lvl 55 can pm a gm? oh yea no ballz. i left when we lost thats all at least i did fight. and what you care what i do anyway is none of ur business also if there is a rule still can break it right? just like others do loool. but i would not break a rule if t here is to stay till death than ill stay till death!.

It is better if we fight with lvl 37s than fight with someone who's gonna teleport without fighting. The lvl 37s might at least deal 50-100 damage.
As about the rule , there isn't one I've heard of but as i said earlier , i'm going to talk with the staff members about this.
People who don't want to fight should NOT join such events for any reason.
You're just disgusting , a common runner.
