Hello Gamez,

Been thinking a lot about GamezAion. I'm not making this thread to QQ, nor cause drama. I'm making this thread to express the way I feel about why Gamez is so screwed up, and I was wondering whether I am the only one feeling like that.

Let's start with the economy. It truely is scary to see what things are worth these days. You can get a full mastarius set with 1 or 2k credits. One ABG is 10x worth more than mastarius, even though it costs the same. I really don't get why so many people actually accept these crazy trades because they are so eager to get what they want. It's such a shame.

Secondly, the stats. I really think there should be some kind of soft or hard cap on Magic Resist. Yes, I'm going to talk about retail now. It's not that ''in retail, it's not like this''. The stats and caps are the same in retail, they really are. The thing is, not everyone is running around in full ABG sets in retail. That's why Gamez and retail is so much different. People that are saying that Gamez needs to be more like retail, you're completely wrong. Gamez needs to be much more different than retail because of the gear that everyone is running around in.

Last but not least, the hackers. Most of the people reading this probably saw that thread about me flaming on the Saints members. Even if that Sachusatan guy wasn't hacking, that sorcerer obviously was. And the point I'm trying to make is not about the person, it's about the whole picture. Remember how I got banned? I got unbanned. I did this to purely make a point. The point is that 99% of the hackers get away with it, and it sickens me. It really does.

Please, let me remind you that this thread is posted in the Serious Discussions, so trolls will be ignored.

I wouldn't say 99% of the hackers, unless 99% of the people here are hackers. Most of the people I see i turn in and they get banned and thats 70% of the people i see, as far as the economy, its like that, just gotta deal with it nothing anyone can do about it now that wouldn't ruin the whole game.

+1. I shouldn't even mention that a noob guy that just learnt how to use CE on flash games can speedhack in Gamez :\ In my opinion, hack protection > bug solving/fixing. So to Evilset, man, please, make the moving server sided, just like in that other pserver, such an obvious hack not being fixed for a year now is just.. ridiculous.

 

Agree, @economy:TBH I know a lot of people who are obviously and admittingly doing it > Multi-voting. This is why Mastarius' are so in trend of being cheap in this server.

@bugs/hacks: Yes, I just read this thread about CE being used by players. And I thought what? Cheat engine isnt that the hack I used for farmville. Why can it be used in a more sophisticated game like GamezAion. Which is weird I kept countering his accusations that it works here and now I know I failed. There are a lot of bugs, and if I was someone who wasn't curious enough to read the forums and content enough to be playing at a server like this I would have probably quit a long time ago.

 

What's that other pserver? Gayshine? :'D It failed epicly.

I'm with you with most of the things you mentioned because I also share the same point of view as you do.

It's a little hard to make changes happen when it comes to the community because you're talking about so many different ethnic groups, ages and personalities.

I would like to express a few of my thoughts.

Gamez Economy
I was reading a post about this and I have to say that the Economy is neither stable, nor unstable for the fact that this is a PvP server and most good items are not Kinah based and players don't really care for it as much anymore, specially older players that are fully geared.

What I believe is that some low level PvP items should become more accessible to players which will bring them to PvP with more frequency. Most players without PvP gear cannot last a battle, cannot gain AP to pass forward during PvP and might just give up on it.

Although I understand that PvP gear can be acquired through the shop, not everyone can afford that or has the patience to vote for a couple of months to get his full PvP gear. What I believe is that if they have lower grade PvP gear, they might be more encouraged to even spend on the shop to make themselves better.

There are also other Non-PvP gear which would help players fend themselves until they can afford PvP gear. (think Anuhart) and they wouldn't have to deal with the struggling economy.


The Hacks & GMs/AMs
Lately I've come across more and more hackers, I've been reporting them on a daily basis and they just keep on coming back and unfortunately they're getting smarter every day by somehow known when a GM is onto them. The Gamez staff cannot do anything else but to say "We Checked and we found nothing wrong", which is true in the sense that at that time they weren't doing anything wrong but when GMs are not around, they go all out.

My suggestion? (almost impossible but) we need staff members on around the clock, how? by hiring players from different time zones that can give Gamez a helping hand when other GMs/AMs can't. I believe a little bit more of staff organization would greatly help.

I'm sure that there ARE players who are willing to volunteer to help Carl, Gamez and the server by serving as AMs. Most GMs/AMs are on around the same time but I'm sure it could be done differently. Even if that forfeits my AM application due to Time Zone, I don't care, what we need is a change that we can all benefit from.

I know we have a reports section but here's the thing, the vast majority of the players don't have fraps or xfire to record the hackers, screenshots don't always cover all the bases (such as speed hackers) and when a player that has no means to report someone begins to cry out for help, GMs are not on and not much can be done.

Hacks will never stop coming.


Positive PvP Feedback (Lumiel)

For the past few days PvP has been more active and in more areas which has been great for entertainment. Asmodians have been constantly invading Heiron and Inggison. Elyos will need to travel more to Beluslan but we're getting there, Reshanta has been fun (although Fly PvP doesn't favor my class), Gelkmaros has cooled down a little but that's a good thing because now PvP has spread around some more.

Slowly but surely it's all going back to normal with more PvP all around the place and more AP to eat, sweat and shed.

I could go on and cover other areas but I just wanted to share a little of my believes and the things I know.

Nah, masta is so cheap cause of the damn dupes, cause if you're saying that masta is cheap cause people multivote, then we'd say the same about ABG, since masta is worth the same as ABG in the credit shop, which is obviously wrong.

Anyway, nick, weren't you the one who admitted having duped the shit out of games? Idk if you were joking or not, but if it's true, you have no right to talk about economy.

I'm gonna have to agree with everything else though.

 

Duped pots, scrolls, etc. Only stackables and only for individual use. No1 bought medals anyways.

 

You can't wipe everything out. People would leave and the server would die. Eventually. Well, it will die eventually because of the bad organization.

 

It's just a matter of time.

 

From what I can see, the population of Gamez goes down. The server will become like Crystal. Sooner or later.

 

the thing is because of bugs you didnt know who is hacking or is that a bug or hacks? but we have a no choice this is private server.. and CARL do anything for whats better for Gamez aion... and were still on top on top 100 private servers.. beat IA,atomix etc... so we must trust Carl for running this community better...
