Your opinion on gladiators

here comes the gladiators! Those who voted Glads are OP (including me) better hide now. They come with spears and large swords! Run for ur lives! Capital Scroll teleport! wushu!

 

Not sure if anyone mentioned it already but I believe the reason why glads are OP is because the stats are currently inaccurate. The devs are working trying to get stats as accurate as they should be. Once they get it fixed, I doubt we'll see the same kind of massacre we see right now.

Think logically, if a lot of people quit because of gladiators being op, as seems to be the general opinion of the public, then they fix gladiators... What happens next? Gladiators quit because they are not op anymore. So some people come back that quit before, some glads unearth their old characters and your left with less people. Letting glads exist for so long being this bugged (other classes, too, like my sin is way overpowered right now) will only cost players in the long run. Point being, the new emulator was a mistake. I'm just guessing but its probably about 70% less population and 95% less pvp now in the new emulator.

Even if most of people think they are OP, I left my glad away and start a Templar (WHEN a glan kill-me its near death baby ).I also like SM and chanter a lot. I test all classes and I think no gladiator have chance against a good SM.
SM have a lot of ways to stop the characters and do a decent damage, also they debuf and... bye bye glad. More, if they transfer the damage taken to the spirit, they become even hard to kill. Just think:summon earth spirit + - 10k HP,when glad finaly kill it... alancrity and puff! new summon.they put u to sleep, they hold u, turn u to spirit at last whit 3 different magics... and meanwhile, damage and more damage.
What is a Glad? The AoE guy of the party, most of time someone that don't tryed other classes, playing the easy way, doing the old hack and slash .
