This is actually a solid idea. Disrespect is a major problem in Gamez. Community needs to be tamed and some mouths in here need to shut and stop talking trash to others. Seriously.

I see people saying that they don't care about what is being said in here. They say it's net. So, they think that they are allowed to do as they please and insult others. All the time. This needs to stop.

Will it be a section where forumers can request a Moderator to make them a section with password on it? Like this:

Because with this, only the people involved can talk - privately. Or if not this because it might take too much time, a Private Section that only the thread starter and staffs can only see?

Well, either ways it's a very great idea. I guess the rule outside that Section must be changed. People who tends to make threads out of that Private Section just to disgrace a member of the Staff Team just to show it to everybody must be punished. A punishment not as light as having a warning so with this, you can push everyone to follow the rules of the forum and the usage of this Private Section.

after some clarification from bella on this idea, im in support of it. sometimes the best way to deal with a situation is just meet it head-on.

I don't think that is the case. I believe if this idea was put into place whether handled by bella or any other staff member that it would be a very useful tool. It is not very nice to say that it would be misused by bella.

Re-reading this idea. I came up with something else. Let's say that there could be a chatroom where people who applied for staff positions would give an interview. Just so Admins could have a clear picture of who they recruit.

    I don't think it'll be taken seriously.
They'll insult each other until one of them is hurt enough to leave. 90% of the time.

In the rare occurrence that two people become good friends then it'd be cool, but it wouldn't be that helpful if it happens once in a blue moon.

You're talking about a gaming community here, not real life. They'll speak their mind regardless, it's how the internet works.

It's a great idea that is actually used by counselors in order to strengthen relationships.
But when applied to a gaming community I fear you won't get the same result.

Actually is a good idea :D

I would like it to be IMs type or chatroom style... Not everyone wants to air out there laundry in a heated argument or discussion publicly and.. People don't want drama on there visitor messages and PMs. The reason why this is brought up cause there is too many people who want to report a PM or visitor message that becomes a "hash out" which in-turn makes things worse and no common ground or some type of agreement. Not to mention, its always nice to have a witness... and i mean ONE WITNESS, not the whole community to just be middle man while two parties attempt to work each other's differences..

The only people who won't take it seriously are those who love the drama and refuse to accept change if its for the better. There is 40+ other users who agreed to this and feel it would help..

Gaming community or not, this is a forum where respect is wanted. If we cared less about all that, then this wouldn't be a gaming community and it would be an 18+ community where anyone can speak mind... Being as this is not that type of community, we gotta make the community respect each other regardless of how much you hate them. Consider it a life lesson for when you start working in a job setting.

It is not only just used by counselors to strengthen relationships... I know a lot of people who do this method especially where the occupancy is as large as this community.

Its interesting how the only people who dislike this idea are the one who rather be around people whom are disrespectful, or are intolerant to change or don't care for taking that leap to try something new even if it may fail. You as that saying goes " You won't know until you try it"

Basicly. Internet community is like one big kindergartens. Mature and adult people are free to act like kids. Fool around. But. There are limits. And everyone is asked to play his/ her game in here inside those limits.

People have to learn it the one or the other way. Some learn it the easy way. Some learn it the hard way.

Edit: Uh. Didn't see your reply Bella. +1 to what you said.
