After reading the omegaweapon thread, I kind of agree with Gracie. People are kind of dicks. All he did was post a video that he obviously took time putting together, and thought was pretty cool, just to have a bunch of people call him a nab for zerging. The zerging is what made the video epic. You think if Gandalf saw Sauron's army he would of been like NO ZERGING 1V1 ME PLS?

 

Wow, a staff member that openly recognizes and admits the flaws in the way that staff moderates/infracts/whatever you want to define it as.

I haven't seen that one in a while. (Quite happy to see it though, + internets for you)

Meh, looking back on it now that I'm not upset, I think it was harsh. But I love you too.

 

That is not always the case. There are a good amount of helpful members that will respond with coherence but I know what you mean, trolls are all over the place and it's kinda frustrating. I think sections such as the General / Problems / Q&A should be moderated more frequently and keep away the unwanted users.

Just let me tell you tho'. don't let that get to you because that's just part of how the community was built. Just ignore undesired comments and praise the good ones because it'll be really hard to keep those comments away.

If you feel that some users are being rude or arrogant, you can always report them to the mods and let them do their job.

 

Yeah, I need to get somebody to edit the title because I don't want to point at the community as a whole since I know it's not entirely true. Because of making a intro thread on here before actually starting in-game, I met a lot of helpful people who are now friends.

As for reporting, to be honest, the ones that bother me most are the ones that are able to stay within guidelines. They just happen to anger me. x_x

 

Honestly, I wouldn't just say it's the community, but it's life. There are always ignorant and biased people out there, but there are also rather friendly and kind people. Kind of like on here, except there are those who are trying too hard, knowing that they're hidden behind the internet.

 

Why you think I've lasted nearly a year and now only recently got 1,000 post? : )

I pay very little attention to majority of posts. I usually just post once in a topic and probably will forget about that topic in a matter of minutes unless it's something deep. But I do take time and watch a bit of drama on the forum when it happen, but I will take no part in it.

@OP: That's why we have the /ignore function. Blocking Sauuron and the likes has been my greatest achievement on this forum.
