    Shows that you have shown yourself on forums before. That you didn't exactly make your account yesterday out of whim and decide to apply for GM. Silly rule IMO too, since you can be active without them. But requirement is requirement.

    Because forums is a major communication route for players. AND staff. How else will they get reports, report back to the reports and ban appeals, etc? Let alone staff section (which I have seen. obviously.)

    No posts = not a serious member of the community. Let alone the fact they cannot even follow basic requirements to apply, its not like its a 9 month course to become a AM.
