[Gamez/Crystal AION] Market Sections + New Bump System

Hi guys,

I'm glad to announce that the new bump system is finally in action and the market sections will be a lot cleaner now. Ok so there have been 2 changes to the Gamez & Crystal AION market sections:

1. Re-Structure of market & Legion sections
2. Addition of new bump system

Addition of new bump system:

This new system adds a "bump" button visible by the thread owner next to the "edit post" button which will take his market thread to the top of the section. Replies will not move the thread to the top ( by owner or any other user, the only way to take the thread to the top is by using the bump system ).

Prefixes have been added for better navigation.

Registered Users / Advanced Users:

• Allowed bumps per thread: 5
• Time between each bump: 24hrs

VIP Users / Staff:

• Allowed bumps per thread: 10
• Time between each bump: 12 hrs

Threads with no replies from 15 days old will be automatically moved to the 'Archives' section and will be accessible but will remain closed. The user will be able to create a new thread in the market section with new bumps allowed.

That's right VIP in game have nothing to do with the Forum.

I object as I would object to any rule that makes 2 categories of people
If a bump limit would be adopted it should be equal for everyone vip or normal member

But this is not the first time this forum violates freedom and especially this guy...

We do not "Violate Freedom". That's ridiculous...
You can just create another market thread once your old one is moved to the archives. Plus you can tell ur friends to bump it.. no big deal. People didn't want to follow the 24h/Bump rule , so the best thing to do was implement a system such as this.
As about the vip/staff members bumping rule , consider it as a "Thanks" to their efforts. They help the server - you don't.

Well there is nothing wrong i saying an honest thanks for their efforts... When u give privilages it becomes a customer relationship. And I don t see why applying equality for everyone offends vips and staff...I m sorry to say u r completely missguided

When I was playing the game I did much more than most vips and staff did for crystalaion. If u only admit that I was just 1 just man's cry inside a vast desert...
And quite recently I believe there was a kinah wipe in gamez...for this too i had spoken moths ago about how kinah modifier and irrational event rewards causes inflation...who listened back then and who will listen now?

Awesome work, only thing I can complain about, is the issue with my posts (not only mine, unless it's restricted to just my pc, which I highly doubt) being pushed back to their prior spot.

Like, let's say, I was on page 3, then I bump, wala, on page 1. But then, once I get a reply, it's pushed back to page 3?
Unless this was miraculously fixed and I didn't notice? :O

But, this is only a small issue, everything else is tops
NO MORE BUMPING EVERY 30 minutes by some people! *cough* raptures *cough* WOO HOO!

When you give privileges to who? And who said applying equality offends vips and staff?They didn't even ask for it... I say , re-read your own post.. it is a THANKS to whoever helps the server.. if that's too hard for you to understand , i guess i'm wasting my time.
As about the misguided , there's the Staff Feedback , why don't you give us some cool suggestions so we can improve instead of complaining? Constructive criticism is accepted.

I never said VIPs are helping in-game somehow , they are helping by donating to keep our server up.
As about your opinions/suggestions about the kinah etc , i guess everyone can do that.. and there are tons of suggestion threads.. what's so special about it? Every suggestion is appreciated of course.

All I said is that I consider paying for having more bumps and more frequent in forums is not only unjust but I ll add now that it s also a fraud and a RL scam...

Constructive critiscism ohhh I tried that...and i m still trying now. What s so deconstructive about what I said?
If someone "volunteers" or "Donates" he should expect nothing in return. If he does he is just a buyer and I don t think market bumps should be bought in CA.

PS: I expected more tolerence on opposition from a citizent of the city that founded democracy...

My view is everyone to have the same ammount and frequency of bumps no matter vip or staff

I didn't say your criticism was deconstructive. And i never said your "view" is wrong , it sounds bad to some people when they see that staff/vip members can bump more often , i realize that. But this is no fraud/rl scam.. , we do not force anyone to donate , i find "unjust" to give everyone the same things donators/staff members get. They deserve a little more for donating because without them , our server would be dead. As about the staff , in my opinion the same applies because they 1) help the server and 2) they can't sit on a thread and wait , they have to finish the trades fast so they can go back to their work as Staff Members.

I personally don't have any active trading thread , don't think im supporting this because i'm a staff member , i get no benefits at all...
Except that i won't have now to clear a thousand of bumps daily and warn 100 users about it and give them the link for the bump rule thread... you can call this a benefit.

No offence taken...and I apologize for some harsh descriptions as fraud...but that s to really show my view. Ofc it s not that important since most trade threads don t receive more than 5 bumps per day anyway...However my objection stands on creating 2 casts of players. so what should have happen?

Lautaro should create an EQUAL status for bumps for everyone.
If and when this causes some problems to staff THEN he should correct that with modifications to his rules...not enforce a proactive measure about it.

Vips should receive nothing more than what they allready have in all cases. They get the title change and the items for ig donations... Why they need more now which they didn t need before?

To add to all that...
It should be forbiden for Staff members to have legit characters to the servers they are staff at.
This rule stands for most gameservers in the world both F2P and P2P and there is a very good reasons for it.

So my real objection is to the logic that considers and creates two categories of players and ot to the rule itself

Today it s 5 more bumps tommorow the same logic will add something else and i seen that in the past plenty o times here

The rules also stand for legion forum...So legions wo a vip member(or staff) will be at a somewhat drawback which could reflect to fairplay. Ofc this is minimum compared to the drop rates but one wrong doesn t excuse for making a second one!

You pay taxes to the state not to the goverment.

 

What a skewed way of thinking. That is like telling the the pest control company not to charge from spraying "your" house with pesticides cause the people who can't afford it, can't pay for it. That just doesn't make sense...

The reason the bump system was in place, which im sure was already mentioned, was so that the latest post doesn't get invaded with "WTT,WTS,WTB" threads and bump out the more important threads.

Knocking market threads off latest post isn't an option as people would complain. So therefore, after lautaro discussed this with staff... this was the best solution.

Everyone needs to stop throwing around the "Its violates my freedom" bit. Its getting old and becoming a useless line..The minute you all can start respecting each other in a adult manner and can have an adult serious discussion without insulting each other, then i'll let you throw that line around, but right now, its just an excuse.

 

The fact that u discussed it with staff doesn t make the idea more democratic and liberal.

Also staff members aren t some kind of imortal wise beings. They r people that make mistakes or don t think right.
And if u go ask a group of meat eaters if they like spinach they will probably all agree that it s the worst food. In a group of vegeterians though spinach will be highly venerated

I spoke of equality and fairplay and fair chances.. And never forget that Crystal aion is above all a f2p server yes a FREE to play free like freedom? do u know this word?


PS: The very moment u start discussing about respect as A PRIORITY freedom escapes from the window...I m not saying respect is useless but it s not the highest moral

 

I'm sorry you don't like the fact that vip /staff members can bump thread more often and more times but this is a benefit I'm giving them since they're people who have supported us with donations (vip users) and volunteers helping us keep our servers & forum in order ( staff members ), that simple.
