Armor from work!

Lol so basically I'm at work and bored to shits, I just donated $260 and now I'm set in game (lol money isn't a issue for me so save your b**Ching please). Now that I have everything I was think to make a FULL MR set for my glad, excluding ABG armor what's the best set up for high high MR (accessories include and sword and board combo not spear/bow ;]). thoughts people?

I wanna be able to walk up to a sorc/sm and slap him across the face and tell him to "Sit down" ^^

 

MR is useless against a sorc, they have a buff that can hit thru it. SMs and clerics u can laugh at though, unless the SM has his super macc bufff which they hardly ever have. If u want MR go with an ABG chain set with all MR stones. If i had a glad/temp id have a ABG plate set with ATT + Crit and an ABG chain set with MR

attack on a glad is kind of pointless due to this,
Any attack stones put on armor will add little to do damage. Attack manastones put on armor will only add to your after damage calulation damage. It goes like this. Random damage of Skill used - Random damage in range of Weapon Min to Max damage values - Attack manastones and attack bonuses added. Keyword is added they are not multiplied or anything. They are added. Only putting attack manastones on your weapon adds damage because it actually adds to weapon min - max dmg.

so best way to socket a glads plate set is Accuracy+Crit

 

so if im a ranger if i have my set full Atk+5 is useless?

i resocketed my rangers set from full attack to HP/Crit and barely notice any difference between the damage i did before and what i do now

 

so should i go mostly with accuracy and crit and some hp?

 

no just HP and crit

I really really really hope you're kidding. Adding manastones in armor and weapons have the same effect either way, there's no difference between whether you put 'em in your weapon or if you put 'em in your armor. Anyways with Badiator I use attack (most), crit and accuracy. I saw a VERY big difference between crit/accuracy and attack/crit/accuracy. My Mres set was abg chain full mres also, and I had an mres greatsword, 2300 mres ftw, even against sorcerers.

 

Oh for the record I am well aware of this, I just wanted to know the highest MR combo you can go just cause I've got no mr set and I've got all the rest so gimme thoughts, advice one best MR set. Also read original post so you know what I'm excluding.

 

If you ever meet an sm or cleric with magic accuracy over 2k you are gonna get owned so bad no matter how much resist you have. Resistance rate is not 100% its only 39% and can reach up to 50%. I wont even mention sorcs since they have many mac buffs that make your resist set practically useless.

 

You people don't seem to understand, I KNOW this already but I already am fully geared and I want a MR set, I am not interested in percentages and crap like that. I have nothing to do at this point but build a MR set for lolz. So again I ask what's best armor set for MR aside from ABG chain (and all other ABG armor)

 

Is atk/crit still the best manastones for gladi?

 

If you use a spear like I did, socket accuracy too.

ATTACK AND CRIT. DONT LISTEN TO THEM. ATTACK IS HELLA USEFUL FOR MULTI v 1s. THE FASTER YOU KILL THE BETTER. HP AINT GONNA STOP THE SHADOWBURSTS.

 

That is blatantly ignoring the fact that most spiritmasters who are worth anything have huge Macc as well, and can lower the targets MR largely allowing them to penetrate through.

So ABG MR glad is only really good at annoying a cleric who doesnt have a MA set, which... any cleric worth their salt has at least a makeshift version of... that is ignorging a cleric can lower an opponents MR by 500.
