Advice to not play with ranger in this server

server: gamez aion - Lumiel

this is an advice from me to everyone in this server who uses a ranger charctar.


I have a ranger in this server (Xxfirexx) and i got banned many times because of range problems. This is a bug which every ranger suffer from in this server. The skill is casted in 25m but when the target move far it reaches him in a longer range and he take a simple picture and you are banned in the next day for sure.

but none of the GMs reply to it and i don't know why


I advice every one to not play with thier rangers to prevent being banned untill they fix the bug.


and I 've asked for a last unban to change my character but no one replied me

There are indeed cases when you see how the person is continuously shooting at you regardless the 40m range. That's range hacking, let me repeat, hacking.

 

We don't care if you got fooled.

i agree with u that happend to me many time... if i shoot and the opponet move in the same time... it doesnt matter how far it goes the Arrow follow it... they should fix that, if u r out of range it has to cancel the attack it doesnt matter if the arrow is in the air to hit u.

 

Use bestial fury, that way them guys won't see arrows coming from more than 20m.

 

Did you guyz noticed that stunning shot requires evrytime 20m range distance of the target ... even if you will use bestial fury or hunters might the range will be still 20m .
Its that retail feature or is broken ?

 

What is retail-ish on this server, other than prices? (You pay to play there, you pay to play here - You have to pay if you want to enjoy playing..)

 

Skills that aren't 25m don't get reduced. You can do rupture,stun,sleep,arrow storm and arrow deluge from their normal range. Penalty doesn't apply to these skills.

Now, i really dont know, how the GM's apply bans using with prove one single SS. (I'm not complaining about the work of the GMS, recognizing the great work being done.)

When i see one video, showing one ranger attacking constantly 35m, 40m, 50m, really can be a hack ... but apply bans using SS, honestly makes no sense, it is very common where exists the oponent move and you attack and stop, or attack and back ... exist high possibility the arrow will hit the oponent out of range ...

I'm 1 month withou play in Reshanta (Air pvp) because this ... preferring only pvp on the ground.

I'd love to see the evidence they used to get you banned. BTW i cant really say for sure since its been... well over a year.... but i played a ranger in retail and im pretty sure bestial fury reduced the range of all your skills by like 15 meters or a % of the range... i remember having to be like 12 meters away from people with that on at all times.. sometimes less lol... i'd look into it more anyway.

 

No no no. What you just showed in that video is like retail, there is a buffer area if shoot somebody within your range and they go out, your attack will hit them. It is called a "buffer" area. What the staff do not like and will ban you for is attack over and over at somebody out of your 25-29m range, aka you following somebody and auto attack them at 40m, that just not right and you will get banned for it. there is a difference in those two i just said and try to understand it. Though the buffer area should not hit somebody at 71m, that one thing needs to be fixed. If you watch retail videos of rangers, you will see once somebody runs out of their range as they attack, you will get hit.

 

Agree with you , its this case is a hack not bug = perna ban
But in others cases, how we can differentiate looking just a SS?

but sir....how can u say that he is constantly attacking u out of range when the proof is just one SS........
im concerned bcoz my main char is a ranger and i dont wnt to play some chars rather than sin or sorc aside frm it ^^

 

Then take a video of him doing it, only real way to prove it, or have a gm take a video of it.

There is also another bug that most people do not know and it lets you attack somebody out of your 25-29m range but the target has to be above or below you to do that. Not a hack, just another bug.

 

what i want to point sir is some GM/AM will banned u when they saw a SS that the arrow is hitting more than ur range.....
i hope they dont do that banning with only 1 SS.....ur not in control when ur ranger auto hitting(normal attack) the target even if it is out of his range..

Actually you are, if your ranger is auto attacking somebody more than 29m, there is something wrong. You're either bugged or you're abusing a bug. It is your character and you have full control of it, not us.
