Any suggestion what ranger build should i use? i though of putting Acc+27 on Jacket, 600 crit (clean), rest on attack.
    what do you think?

i would love if some post their suggestion or just they're build :)

    Thanks.

    put accuracy in 2 pieces

crit at 600 sounds good and rest attack

    Lol

You dont need Acc, due to the fact most classes are full MR, And its currently bugged to shit. You may want to socket partial Magic Acc for this, Also the Weapon combine system allows u to naturally have a Higher than Avg accuracy. Consider socketing possibly HP and Magic Acc, So you have more survivability, and also your traps and Silence/Sleep's will land WAY more often, Instead of not at all.

    Crit/hp or Crit/mr

    crit= 730+
and then, build the rest with hp stones =)

    accuracy helps with glads/temps ^^

not all are MR, cloth/chain classes are already squishy so socketing MA for 1 skill to hit is kind of pointless imo

I don't think MA is good these days.. because you will never get enough MA to have better chance to land /stuns/silence/sleep etc
About the formula ( maybe i'm wrong)
~ so if you have 2k mr and ranger have 1k ma it means 0% chance to land (sleep/silence/stun)
    ~ 100 points of ma means 10% chance (2k mr against 1.1k ma = 10% chance to land )
~ but people on this server have 2k+ cleric can get 2.4k easy

I have a full Mac ABG set and I wreck full ABG MR clerics, How many of you rangers can boast that? Wait was that a cricket? And Silence/Sleep are some of a rangers most important skills along with traps that are easily resisted.

Remember our opinions are all valid yet, The guy will have to figure out what suits him best for his play style.

Let not assume he will be good at it like everyone else eh?

    thanks.

PS. Tritium is garbage. Void all comments made.

MR is great coz u cant be caught by an ankle snare and u can also resist the skills of mage..

    Agreed.

that's why the most appropriate build for gamez aion is crit/hp

well, if you put crit/mr...you will neither resist to every stuns, nor magic classes' burst...useless

if you put crit/ma...you would lose survability and it would be still useless against full mr players (there are more full mr players than ppl think...)

    If you put crit/acc...
    LOLILOL...nothing more to say ^^

if you put crit/hp...you can fight both magic classes and resist decently to glads...so you can play against everyone. =)

On retail, i would put crit/mr...but on gamez aion...the rule is crit/hp

LOL, You cant resist Mages bro, No matter how much MR u have unless your a templar with Aether Armor. Talk to The Ablazed. Best ranger on Aion Ive seen for this server.

Tritiums playstyle, 1,2,3,4,5 Oh shit its not dead, Mau, Flee

I agree though HP/Crit is a great build. But if ur a pro ranger u Know ur traps are everything fighting most classes. What good is Blazing trap for 3k Dmg if its so easily resisted by people with Base MR non socketed?

Ouch i feel like u are mad coz of me? sorry dude LOOOOL

well, crit/ma sounds good too. didn't say it was a bad build at all...just useless against full mr players ^^

example:how is the default ma? 1k-1.2K? you put crit/ma so i think you can go to 1.5K ma?
do you think it's enough to bring 2.4K mr clerics, with the current mr bugs? ^^
also, you would suffer against glads if you don't have many hp.

    furthermore, i
mainly play in reshanta (one of the last places still not zergued)...
so, i know traps are usefull
(didn't need you to learn it)...but in reshanta...what can i do with traps while flying? kthxbye...

PS: if you don't like me/suck ablazed's balls, it's your problem, but please, don't flame me like you did right now...this is just a game...and i left it long time ago...
if you meet me ingame, you are just lucky because i don't play anymore...so don't bother with my pvp style
(even if your description is completely false)

+ if you still hate me...you must learn i don't need to prove things anymore on this server...

I agree with Playah and Tritium here. Crit/MA is decent, but I too stack Crit and HP. You have to take into account that not all battles are fought on the ground, so your entire build shouldn't revolve around one strategy, which in your case is traps. Versatility and the ability to think and adapt dynamically is the key to winning all battles. I understand that MA effects other skills as well, but I haven't had enough trouble to where I thought to myself "I need more MA." In my opinion, HP is definitely the way to go.

@Playah, Tritium: Remember that MR should be capped at 50%, as far as I remember.

The "official" aka viable build for ranger has always been HP/Crit (maybe with Atk on the weapon).
Assuming the crit soft cap is somewhere around 550 and cloth classes get 338 strike resist, you could theoretically get:

    550 (soft cap) + 338 (cloth resist) - 120 (crit strike scroll) = 768 crit

Depending on the food you use you might even need less. Rest should be HP. MR/MAcc will be useless because you don't have enough slots left to make any use of it. Besides, you have FE which resists a skill with 100% chance.

    My build non buffed
    725 att
    583 crit
    1100+ macc
    1700+mr
    2300+acc
    2150+ ev
Only problem's are traps, silence, sleep but im gonna change this with lowering my att and adding macc coz its realy sux when everything is resisted by casters(mostly)
