Mmmm I feel I've been on this server long enough now.... that I can freely say without a doubt that the punishment system needs revision.

    Why do I say this?

We have obvious multiple-offenders, for "little things". But we send them off with a tiny slap on the wrist and let them be on their way.

Hackers, well... I don't think we can get much better. I am pretty happy that their account is perma banned and IP banned (although some people know how to get through, lets be honest... not everyone is computer-savvy.).

But I suggest that punishments get raised overall. This will scare off multiple-offenders who really just don't seem to give a -pardon my FreUnCh K-.

    Things that would be altered:
#1: -Triple the jail times at minimum. If not, multiple them by 5. Whatever number it is at now isn't high enough to get rid of people.

#2: -Ban appeals that are denied -> Result in immediate IP ban from forums as well.

#3: -Implement a system in which the player will lose their weapon (By a GM destroying it, or other means) or inventory. This would be effective such as if a person does a particular offense 3x.

#4: -Revise the rule set and define extra parameters such as:

Expand the griefing section into parts such as:

i: Ninja-looting. Punishable by perma ban.

    etc.

That way we will have less care-bears spreading tears for morons.

    #5: Enhance the event punishments.

Too many players leave. This is a form of griefing for those who actually want the event.

This should be punishable with a MINIMUM of 3x the curent jailtime.

Or a temporary ban of 3 days.

UNLESS proof is otherwise specified such as they bugged out, were teleported out for some reason, accidently ported in, told the GM they could not participate, etc.

    #6: Mute and jail spammers/beggers.

This is something I don't understand why GM's can't do at a range o.o. This will cut down on the "pls gm sir gibe me kinahs".

There is surely other things, but I want to see the punishments actually mean something. It's obvious the current system is being joked around with.

i questioned that before why they remove ip ban, they just seem to make ip ban offenders if they feel like it.

i loled...even on retail it's not bannable. there are now servers with bans for ninja-loot. Game allow to do it, so i think it's not bannable. Tired of beggars/spammers? Use ignore. Ban for everything what makes ppl qq is too radical.

Ninja looting should be punishable somehow,i have to agree with it.What would you say if you lose 2-3 hr in instance to get part/parts that you need so bad to complete your set and leader of group take all drops and you are the only one who can wear that part of armor in whole group.

ninja looting = random item you are currently wearing is deleted
1st offense for anything else = slap on the wrists (acct banned for 24hrs)
2nd offense on hacking is perma ban + ip ban + email spam

    Totally agreed!!!!!

that happened to me already they deleted me 1abg gs and 1 abg shield 8 months ago!

Dunno why they done it only to me and they didnt kept doing it. Abuse must be punished. thats all.
