Tahabata! can I get it or it will remain a dream

Try running DP today on a 2-man party with newbie gear and try to get to Tahabatha. You'll realize how stupid it is to compare yourself that started "2 months ago" as you proudly put, with newbies today.

The way you've asserted yourself in the entire thread is just egotistical to me and is not constructive in any way.

 

I also wanted to write a retort to Mantle's comment but figured I'd be better off trying to be constructive.

NOW LISTEN TO MY RANT:
I believe that DP has become more difficult on gamez than on retail, simply because of the type of players who enter the instance (14 day vs elder on retail) and the instance itself (i doubt any newbies has over 300 essencetapping) which is bugged as it is (cant fight the worg for 2k points, mobs attacking through walls, attack boost not disappearing on marabhata etc). Anyways, the gear dropped from the instance is not worth it. There are much better drops at much easier dungeons in this game (such as LUT/UT and BT).

What I recommend OP do is create a cleric class and try to join as many groups for as many instances as you can, scrape up whatever gear you can collect and distribute it amongst your other classes. In 2 weeks my cleric went from naked lvl 55 to warehouse full of BT and LUT gear.

 

If you're gonna flame, at least make sure you read my post properly before you open your mouth.

Firstly, where did i ever say i did Tahabata 2-man wearing rental gear?

Secondly, i know that things have changed with recent patches to gamez but it is STILL nowhere near the difficulty of retail. Also the way i've asserted myself? egotistical? no.
I just can't stand lazy people and that's all i see here.

In 2h you can get Tahabata, that's fair! Get a full group (Temp + Sorc + Ranger + Sin + SM + Cleric) and it'll be easy.

 

um. how do you plan on retorting me when in your "rant" you essentially said the exact same thing as i did in my first post in this thread?

- Play cleric. check!
- collect gear. check!
- timeline (2 weeks vs my 2 months). check!

If there is no rule against Ninja looters it is hard to trust strangers for any instance run even DP. If we are talking to a newbie here who knows no one it is pretty hard to go for a run, waste 2 hours then get nothing because of those ninja looters. And since they are working on a rule revision about the said matter, prevention is the best for now.

@Mantle; I get your point. I started playing this year, February and everything is really easy in Dark Poeta. I can say I am a lot luckier than other newbies here because when I came I already know a friend (from another online server) who is playing Gamez for pretty long time who have friends around so they helped us getting geared. But I, as well started with Anuhart (Chanter) and that time Pauldrons doesn't drop easily like other parts. My husband who's playing Cleric, wearing full Anuhart Cleric set made a lot of run in DP on his own just to get the pauldrons to at least unlock the bonus stats of my set. Took him weeks, almost a month to get the pauldrons. And imagine, that was months ago, earlier when you started. Before 2.5 update, DP is the easiest instance in my opinion, I can go solo a boss with my Chanter or run around to get blind GS 5%. The point here is even how eager newbies are to go to that instance, there are things that will hold a newbie back:
* Ninja looters
* harder instance

What Chloe is saying is simple. Go DP now with the same gear you had before with the same party, and see if you can surpass I think Marabata of Strength. Same set and amount of people. I wish you good luck!

 

Thankz for all the replies! Yeah I have been upgrading my craft skills lately and also doing campaign quests for kinah since im not that rich yet, or if im not doing those, im looking for fabled drops so that i can break the and get some enchantment stone. Its a long way for me but sometimes it drains my enthusiasm, and im also doing instances but still "i barely find a good party" there are people who would just leave your group without saying, specially some clerics! I guess i need to create one too...

 

The sentence you highlighted was not a part of my rant, I made it on a seperate line purposely.

What i did was make a recommendation, followed by a promise of great things to come. You were gloating.
