shadowburst again ffs

Well this is another story which needs its own thread , but you have right ! ( Mostly this is happening under Zerg situation)

 

Ok.. done. ive shadowbursted a templar (no elemental defenses) without any pvp items( i guess) with 2400 mboost (2x basic dmg (every 1.2k m boost = +1 amount of basic dmg) + basic dmg = 3x basic dmg) and it was 11 014 ( ~11k)so:
Shadowburst's Basic DMG = 6362
ABG's attack bonus = 11%(wep)+ 18%(accs) = 29% (~30%)
Now lets calculate:
(SB_Basic x3 (because of mboost) x 1.3(because of abg's pvp attack boost) ) /2 (because of 50% pvp reduction) =

((6.3 x3) x1.3) /2 = (18.9(~19k) x 1.3) /2 = 24.7 / 2 = 12.3k

Well my dmg was only 11k so i can say it w/out any worries:
SHADOWBURST IS NERFED! (a little)

Lol i once got lightbursted while eating on my desk , wasn't even moving. If i remember right , it was an elyos sorc named Stormcaller.. and he was not the first elyos to do it D:
Cooler than 3v1 shadowburst , don't u think?

People who shadowburst/lightburst in 3v1 either are going to log off in the next few mins so they want to get a kill fast or are too bad to kill someone in 1v1 :3

Mmm, 4k DPs are always fun. The worst part is, it's not just new sorcerers that do it, but people you are ranked top 50 as well. I can see it being used as a last resort, of course, but when you open a fight off with it I take it as a compliment. In fact, just yesterday was quite a memorable day for me, having many sorcerer officers OPEN THE FIGHT on my ranger with a 4k DP:

Stillblazzin - Shadowburst (then has the nerve to call me a "noooooooooooooooooooob", thankfully I killed him a few times after)
Sexycast - Lumiel's Wrath
Exidium - Lumiel's Wrath
but by far, the worst was - Xienyu, who felt the need to Shadowburst me the first time and Lumiel's Wrath me the second time.

All of these fights were solo, except for Sexycast, where it was 2v2. As far as damage goes, this is the hardest I've ever been hit by Shadowburst. This was back when I first started playing:

 

i dont remember but someone said the extra damage from dp skills are affected by mboost or atk...
dunno if its true.. but in retail 11k non critical is impossible

 

Todays stats:

2x Kaisinel's ( 1 died, 1 survived )
1x lightburst ( survived )

I once dealt 34k with shadowburst on a ranger.

On a Level 30~40 guy with white gear :whistling:

And you say 13k is big? LOL. I even had 21900 lightburst but i wasnt able to find the screen shot.

Who the hell is full abg in retail? =]
1. Get abg in retail
2. Shadowburst a guy with elder items.

And yes. The dmg is affected by mboost. (as i said 1200 dmg = 100% additional dmg (base))

 

Ok.. I failed there. The Templar was with empyrean armor(pvp dmg reduction).The Templar on this pic wasn't:


Same buffs. (2400 mboost). You can see the 13k shadowburst which means that

Shadowburst's DMG is fine and it is NOT Nerfed!

 

it is normal that shadowburst was a crit.. so ofc it was gonna hit high it also has a 1 hour CD and no just because it hits that high with a crit doesnt mean ALL gamers will make a sorc just for it.. ive said this before and ill say it again, sorcs=squishy so they get massive dmg

 

yep, I think 13k is the normal in Gamez ô-ô
