aion backup copy

i reformatted my pc today and i make a back up copy for aion,

after the format, i transfer my back up copy(aion) in my Local C but when i try to launch the gamezaion launcher i got error (AION gameclient OTCBuildClient32_woGG has stopped working)

i try to put another folder in local D but still its not working...

can someone help me?

i would suggest you should re install again.

 

i got NVIDIA 9600

 

i was asking if you installed the driver? but then again that was "Unable to Initialize" error.

so not sure about the error.

did you changed operating system?

 

i already install all applications and i didnt change my OS

 

have you reinstall all the driver?
if all done.. and nothing fix.. just redownload your aion by NCsoft launcher.. i did before and it fix my problem..

 

i think i know the problem already, i need to update my directx

i already redownload the ncsoft launcher and i paste the aion folder on the ncsoft..

im updating my directx right now...

 

Why Drive C?

( As you said you reformatted your PC ), are you a computer technician ?

I guess no. cause you don't know whats the reason why you can't launch the game.

( Drive C has like a registered key / code ), and if you copy 1 file from C and transfer it to D, it wont work.

( C is for Operating System Only not for games. )



Re install Aion and make sure put it on Driver D:

How ? Just make a folder on drive D:. ( Root folder. )

Drive D: > Ncsoft > Aion > Launcher.

PS:

Even you didn't change your OS, still the Registered Key / Code of AION on Drive C: will gone.

So eve you put your Aion on Drive D, it won't work.

 

Install NCSoft
Install Aion (1.9 client will do)

After installing both the backup will then work. ^^

Happened to me months ago and it worked that way.
