Decisions, decisions.

Starting a new ME save from the first game and going to play it into ME2, I've honestly only ever played Soldier though, wondering if I should maybe try something else for once.

Also might go femshep.

 

Played Vanguard both games. I liked the mix of biotic and guns. Now I feel like playing it again

 

Most of my friends that play ME say Vanguard so that's what I've had my eye on, Infiltrator also looks interesting but only because I want to infiltrate Tali with tools.

I never use Charge.




Also, on the second playthrough of your ME2, use Gibbed's Save Editor to cheat a bit and get a headstart on everything. It can only help if you want to speed things up (wanting to save your crew without having to gather all the stuff)

Would you still suggest Vanguard and do you think i should try a femshep or stick with male?

 

Vanguard is fun. It's like a hybrid between a Soldier, Biotic, and sometimes Infiltrator.

About femshep or maleshep, I can't really decided as it depends on your judgement of what "beauty" is. I can never make a decent femshep, but maleshep is a-okay. Try going to masseffect2faces.com and see for yourself.

 

Yeah the femshep faces aren't all too amazing imo :< but thought it might be interesting to try, figure I'd rather romance the girls though than chafing

 

I did use Vanguard's Charge ability quite a bit when I was too far from my enemy. I typically found it pretty effective.

 

If they're too far I'll just snipe 'em.

Didn't care for Sniper Rifles in ME for some reason. Preferred the Pistol and SMG's.

I do generally like Sniper Rifle's in games lol. ME was just weird about them for me.

 

I tried playing Renegade. Made it about as far as telling Kaidan to leave our teammates corpse behind without any second thought or respect for him before I said **** it.

 

Engineer is the most fun really... take control of other opponents (mechs), have your own tank-spawn-drone that is beast....


And in Mass effect 2 you can get the ability to take control of a physical characters... "Dominate".


I felt like ****ing dominant.



That is ignoring the ability to get sniper rifles later in game... oh **** it was hilarious how I soloed everything.

I think I'm going to try renegade again in ME2 (**** doing ME1 again..dem graphics, dat council) also because I love glowing scars, but its going to be rough :<
