Recent Events - Account Worries etc.

    Alright I would like to take some time to clear the air regarding recent events on the forum tonight.

    As some of you have noticed a spam account has been posting a block of "10,000 GamezAion" accounts. Many of you have panicked regarding this believing you're about to be hacked. This is false.

    Firstly there are not 10,000 accounts, there are 10,000 lines. A total of 2,417 account names listed many of them are duplicates.

    Secondly these are not accounts which have been hacked from our database, the GamezNetwork continues to be secure and our database has not been compromised. The accounts you see being posted are accounts which have been phished from fake Gamez URLs posted ingame promising people credits etc. These are accounts of people who have tried to take the offer of an unfair advantage and were hacked by a malicious source - many of which are either fakes or duplicates entered into these websites. If you have not followed the URLs of these scammers your account is perfectly safe.

    Thirdly the reason for Siel's downtime is unrelated to these events, the server had an unexpected Java error and has hard crashed. The reason it's still down is due to Carl currently being unavailable to force restart it and we hope to have it up shortly, I have contacted him outside of the game to notify him of this issue. The website is also temporarily down which is does every night at this time for maintenance.


    So again just to clarify, if you have not followed the URLs of fake GMs ingame promising credits and hacks you are fine. Legitimate users are perfectly safe.

    We apologize for any delay in clarifying this matter, a thorough investigation was required however before I was willing to release an official statement.

    I never imagined why a person would advertise anything in game especially when it's already high-rates, but accepting the scam offers from phishers are perfectly unlegitimate players.

    I was on the middle of screenshotting everything and was on the 19th shot when suddenly gamez website went down. I was like DANG IT MY ITEMS! Finally some air yes I can breathe now, I will inform my friends in-game that I have warned too just for caution as well.
