Aegis on Laptop...

So I am looking towards getting a new laptop exclusively for note taking/on the go.


Since my alienware m17x.... ain't going anywhere LOL.


I honestly am much more comforatable with windows, which drove me to keep looking around more and more.... and so I'd obviously feel like smashing my head into the wall when it comes to Apple. For some reason I just hate apple (everyone at campus has one, it has a fruit on it, etc).


So I've stumbled upon this beautiful and graceful almost art-exhibit-like laptop when waddling around early.... yesterday now. Lol.

For such a small ultra-portable it looks like one hella of a laptop o.o

Its especially nice because it isn't 2k lol. Atm I can get it for 1.1 O_O far cheaper than even the crapbook air.


Also Duralumin... I am a sucker for it lol.

 

Macs look better than that crap.
If you want the "NP-900X3A-A02CA", then sure, go for it, but you won't be able to play too many games on because of the video board. But anyway, for what you want to do, which is notes on the go and maybe office work, it is good.

 

Just wait till you forget it on a couch or something, that thing is getting crushed lol

 

Oh yeah I have my alienware for games... lol. Its just this beast can't relaly be moved... I tried to use it on the bus to campus and I felt like I was going to die LOL.

That and how expensive it was.... I was ready to lunge out and stomp on someone should they have even gandered at it funny o.o!

In terms of looks.... I like the black and silverfinish. Not too drawn to the "samsung" on it at all... but i love not having a fruit on it that glows :S

Its duralumin case is 2x stronge rthan aluminium and is commonly used in aircraft :<

ipads are not meant for quick taking notes trust me, you will fail.

there's so many thin note books right now on the market that serves just for taking notes. tablets if you like hand written notes, tho i would still prefer just a regular $200 netbook, that should be fine. unless you still go out on style then ignore my comments. lol.

apple is very user friendly, first of all.
ure looking for an on the go device you dont need the hardcore software. i am assuming u need it mostly for writing & reading. ipad does the trick, believe me! you will love it for its mobility. it's great browsing the internet on it. I love to type on it. I do a lot of writing and it never fails to make things easier for me. trust me, get one

 

well how quick you expect to take a note ? theres a progress and you gotta type it in right? If theres a faster way to take notes, it's Speech to Text softwares which u can even easily get on your phone.

 

you type 2 hands on your ipad? well i'm sure can't, even with stands its still hard to type in two hands. well that's just me. its good on reading news tho or playing pvz.

True, I have heard many good things about apple. Its just I kind of have been classically conditioned to associate it with Justin Beiber >.<

True, the iPad is definately good for that =o However I am a bit more traditional o.o I like having the screen and keyboard lap-top style. I think its brilliant, been going that way for years now and loving it sadly my most recent purchase of alienware is far too big xD and far too expensive for me o.o; although I know people who would say that its chump change =/ it matters to me. Its mah baby!

Hmmm.... I'll have to check out the iPad in a bit more depth. I am still afraid I am much too traditional o.o but maybe.
