Am I seeing shit or did emotes change? everyone is using goofy looking terrible emotes that look all poopy and bad but the emote bar on the right of my posts is showing a completely different set.

Did we downgrade to the crap version of presets or am I just bugging out?

Ok heres the problem, we can't just go around ninjaediting emotes to make them look crappy

That kinda stuff will effect lives. Trust me, I know.

if anything we should ADD cooler emotes such as :frogout:

Please add :frogout: and revert the old emotes to their original settings.

edit: Since there is a lot of speculation about how serious I am, I can assure you this post is COMPLETELY SERIOUS. I'm not even being sarcastic, I really do want the old emotes and more importantly I think :frogout: should be added.

 

Although for some reason, im still getting the same emotes as before.

 

Indeed, I actually never cared much for emotes but I don't like change, many people don't, so I don't see the point in changing a few emotes making them look worse actually (even if its only like..2)

and I think some new emotes would really add more life and personality to the forums. Perhaps we could open up some suggestions to see what people may like added?

I'll be able to provide precise instructions if needed in a few days, but I'd assume Lautaro would know how to do it, there should be a pretty simple function within the Admin CP to change the preset of smilies used and add custom ones.

The last 2 are terrible, I guess the first 3 would be amusing to have.

A bunch of emotes could be added trough the Admin cPanel, however, I think it would be a bit hard for the people to have access to it to add everyone's favorite smiley, the reason is self-explanatory.

 

It might take some time to do, but it'd make the forums a lot funner and livelier, I think someone should commit the time because sometimes its the little things that matter ;3

vbulletin changed the smileys at the last update, that's why they're different.

ill bring back the old ones and install a few new packs when i have some time.
