Actually if you really want to know, it's Plaything.
Haven't met any other SMs with whom I could take on a 2v10.

 

SM's are a broken ass class anyway. I know sorcs are marginally OP, but SM's take the biscuit. Dunno why anyone would care who can slow/remove all buffs/fear someone to death. They get something like 30k HP with spirit sub too. Honestly, what the hell is that?

No1.SM has always been the most OP class that takes no skill to pvp with

 

I've mentioned Plaything above, since he's one of the few spiritmasters who can easily rickroll others without spamming fear like a mad kid, and he does not rely on the OP skills only.

 

SM is not broken :3 it's quite broken if you'll say,


amateur uses fear bombing on 1 on 1 or 2 on. and for the record, sorcs are not that OP. SM's exist to neutralize sorc, if you have the right build :3

It is completely broken. I didn't even mention fear lock in what I said. Try reading it again. I have a problem with a lot of SM's skills. They can remove buffs, including scrolls which is just lol, then they can slow, they can stack silence, they have a skill to resist one attack, whether it's physical or magical and then if they get screwed despite all of this they can rely on spirit sub which depending on what spirit they have up gives them ridiculous survivability. Then, if they still somehow manage to still be screwed, they can just fear lock anything they like to death. How can you even try to defend that? There is a reason almost all an SM needs to stack manastone wise is MA...


It's the most broken, unskilled class ever and people have been saying it for years. The only class that has a chance in a fair 1 vs 1 is a sin out of hide. If the skill level is equal, a SM will wrfpwn every single other class with ease.

Now try telling me your class isn't broken and that what you can do is fair.

 

Good thing Aion is a group PvP game and hasn't been balanced for 1vs1.

In groups they are still too strong atm, same goes for clerics.

try going lumiel, it has STIGMA SYSTEM there in w/c you can't SPAM all skills there, too many QQ just bcoz you can't kill an SM/ or you just can't use SM's properly

 

I dunno, man. If you exclude SM's things are pretty even between every other class. Even sins have been buffed now to make them more even. It's the playerbase mentality that requires group play. They see a red name and go mental trying to kill it, which promotes zerging. It doesn't help that in Gelk and Ing there is only a very narrow road that you can feasibly PvP on which also inadvertantly promotes zerging.


When I used to play retail, I'd at max duo when I pvp'd and if we saw one player by themselves we'd decide on Skype who would engage while the other stood back. If more players did this, like they do in KAion then it would be a much better game.

Sadly, I think the western mentality is too full of idiots to make that likely to happen and thus everyone runs around in groups/alliances and kills anything that moves.

I solo a lot as well, you know?
Usually it's 1 vs 2, 3, 4, x when soloing. And 6 vs XX when grouping.

Zerging, not Group PvP (2 vs 2 up to 6 vs 6), is really annoying, I agree.

Always nice to see other players respecting a 1v1 when you meet 1 person with 2 players. I try to do the same when I have friends with me who think the same way. From other players I usually get whispered "WHY U DIDNT HELP ME?!?!" which is kind of annoying. My usual answer is "well, if you died, he probably deserved your AP".
