Nah. There are ways to beat them. If a sorc can get a sleep in, they'll win. A good SM would just use Contrast of resistance on shadowburst and you'd be screwed.

They are beatable, but barely.


Saying that, I reckon I'd probably beat any Gamezaion SM in a 1 vs 1.
