Sorcer Over Power -.- 33k damage....

Not like there's a fixed random 4k damage @ ranger, right. While my templar does 400-800 random damage with shining slash on mobs (Tooltip says ~600)

 

this dmg looks rough i feel sorry for you when u got hit with this...(were u naked?) jk but seriously though i've been hit with 22kbefore but not 33.(and this was recently)

well, gimme the obvious proof of a ranger reaching 4K dmg on an abg templar (buffed) and then we can discuss.

And full buffed, rangers often hit 4K dmg on retail so dunno why ppl should be shocked to see it on this server.
Sorcers don't often reach 33K dmg on retail (using equal sets)...


PS: If you still doubt about my sincerity, just check my pvp video...so you can notice i never reach 3k+ dmg...even full buffed.

0 or 40 damage with Heart Shot or Lightning seems normal to you? ( i'm talking about block and Parry ofc )

This damage is still not legit, I dealt that Lightburst on a rookie rank9 pink guy for fun, who obviously had low gears and I had full buffs and prepared my lightburst with blaze+flamefusion.

@Sauuron: If the damage godstone activates, it isn't getting added to the skill damage, it appears as a different amount of damage such as "XYZ has inflicted xxxx dmg on you by using Magical Fire Damage I or II" (I don't remember)

So this damage is a complete bull, and the caster of that shadowburst should be banned like... now.

I could survive that 33k hit, Iron Skin + Empyrean Armor + Full HP = Survive, or who knows with AA maybe resist xD

I dunno about GamezAion, but 33k Lightburst on retail is not Possible. At all.


Think about it. 1200 MB doubles the damage a skill can have and then another 1200 adds another 50% and so on and so forth. Now, max Magic Boost is 2700 which means that Lightburst, which deals 6338 base damage will hit for 13468.25. The natural damage reduction in PvP is 50%, so you're looking at 6734.25 uncrit with no PvP defense or attack. Now let's add the maximum PvP attack bonus to our total, which is 28.6%. So now we have the total for maximum uncrit Lightburst with full PvP attack and no PvP defense, which is 8660.08475. Now, to reach 33,271 damage with a crit, you are talking about a crit multiplier of roughly 384%, which is completely and utterly impossible. The rough crit for a sorc is 150%, which means 12990 average for full PvP attack and max MB. It shouldn't much fluctuate from that. I struggle to believe 17k crits, let alone 33k...

I think I might be out 2k either way on non crit max as the MB multiplier has changed I think and no good sorcs are on IRC to ask.


These numbers are kinda rough, by the way.


I've not even factored in Pdef which by itself would nerf my number down by a bit. Either GamezAion has the most broken crit multiplier ever or someone has decided to be an attention whore with an edited screenshot.


I'd like it noted that there is or should be a maximum fire resist reduction.

dont blaim on sorc couse that dude is aither hacking or he is buged. that dmg is not posible. most i have ever seein with lb was 18k on cleric but cleric had summer circle or winter circle on him so therefore added +9& dmg on himself.

that is maybe just maybe posible if u had circle, shackle of vurnelability and agonizing slash and added 30+% dmg on urself but even with that chanses r very slimm.

all in all not posible.

Retail SS's with 9-11k non crit 4k dp. Most LB/SB are around the same here in gamez with exception of this ss. Like akylia said not all chat log is there, how do we know he didnt have elemental debuffs from an sm.
