Stay Put, whats your motherboard? U need to check if your mobo is AVG or PCI-E in the graphic card plug.

If u know that already, u just need to plug the new graphic card and instal the drivers.

Check also if your power supply have all the necessary cables to plug the graphic card (if necessary).

    List to keep in mind:
    AVG or PCI-E
    Does it need power feeding

it might help a little, but if the lag ur talking about is ping, then no it wont help. if u want to raise ur fps, then get a better greaphics card, more ram, and a better processor

    1. Uninstall xxx display drivers from control panel
    2. Restart entering into safe mode
    3. Clean remaining xxx drivers using DriverSweeper, shut down
    4. Install the new card
    5. Boot up, install xxx drivers(new card), restart

Okay honestly PCI-E is the Standard now, I didn't even know anyone still used the other slot types. Pretty much, I can almost guarantee you its PCI-E.

you mean AGP cards? AVG is an anti virus brand.

Its very easy to tell.. Look at the card and its pins.. what does it look like?.
