    Give me brief descriptions. One by one.
    It's coming at me like a subway train tomorrow. I need to prepare my mind for the night.

    Also, is the first week usually for introduction and stuff?
    Also also, if my class is waitlisted, I understand that I'll have to wait it out, but usually for how long?

    basically yes, but tbh, 1st week is horrible unless you know someone from your highschool life, :<

    and if your waitlisted, make sure there is an open slot and always be on the know, coz not everyone that are waitlisted can get the subjects :>

    Sounds like I'm doomed. I'm the only one in my group who's heading to this college.
    And my waitlists aren't too bad, but I can only hope.

    College was a bit of a let down for me. A lot of it seemed pretty easy work, except for the few classes that actually challenged my thinking. Most of it was just rote memorization for tests. Finished my Bachelor's in about 2 years when it normally takes 4.

    Every college is different though. May be harder or easier for you, depending on how prepared you are for it.

    Take a kid who's only moved here for 2 years, plus 2 years of high school (junior and senior) = story of my life.

    I'd say I'm mostly prepared for it. Just that last bit about what to expect, who to socialize with,...etc.

    I'm not driving also.

    Oh I wish it was going to be easy ;~;

    I've been considering vet.

    BUT IT'S NOT A PROFESSION TO LIVE ON IN VIETNAM. I WANT TO MOVE BACK THERE WHEN I'M STABLE.

    Don't worry xD!

    Everyone worries so much p_p;

    Its a relaxing environemnt really, people work their entire lives there. Professors, researchers, medical staff, etc.

    Its just the excitement and tension for the first day that really maeks a big difference... in reality its quite a relaxing environment.

    Mentalities people take in their with them that are 1000000% WRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG:

    -Stress. "I need a 4.0! I must beat everyone! I WILL BEAT EVERYONE...." "Omg how will I study and do all this! I can't handle this!"

    Wrong. Stress only comes to those who do not care for what they do and leave everything to the last day before an exam/assignment due-date. If you do a little tid-bit everynight you're memory will consolidate the information much better and it will seem like a lot less work. There is no stress if you take things nice and easy.

    Those who are stressing are those who shouldn't be there or are too busy partying/etc.

    -OMG THE PROFESSORS ARE ALL DOCTORS I AM ****ED!

    It is true, that they have at minimum 16 years of experiance in their profession (and most have many more years ontop of that), and that you're tiny amount of education is probably less than spit on the pavement on a highway compared to theirs in their field.

    However? However everyone starts out small. That is no joke.

    -"Omg I need to make friends and I need to get into a frat... I need to socalize omg comeon lets do it omg...!"

    Funny fact: I've been in classes of over 800 students in alecture... and yet no one talks to eachother (those that do are usually ushered out and potentially academically infracted for being a nuisance).

    Don't worry if it takes you a little while to make friends, but don't try hard. That is when you start to realize that the REASON you are there is drifting away... You shouldn't be like some people I've known who have met people and loggde onto facebook to chat with them all day and night for the next 3 days non-stop.

    But, like I said, its all in moderation. Take an hour between classes to read, read on the bus, (PREREADING HELPS A LOT! THAT TEXTBOOK AIN'T JUST FOR EXTRA WEIGHT IN YOUR BAG/ETC!), etc... really does help. And it helps free up time for you to do other things you'd rather do.

    Summary really...:

    -Take things in moderation. Study a little bit each day and it will help you remember it and it will ease your stress by... there should be no stress! =D

    -Dont force relationships, I can tell you I didnt even meet people like-minded as me until mid way through my third year... but even then some people I met were just utter -omg wow... how did you even manage to... (question mark)-

    Things will come!

    -Donèt worry about asking questions. Most professors are in there because they WANT TO HELP YOU LEARN.

    They want to inspire people in their field... such as a person who has studied the human brain (me for example) would love to go at it and splurge you with information and clarify things. Professors are some of the most fascinating people that walk this earth, they PRODUCE the knowledge that fuels the future!

    -Just stay calm =3 all will go well.

    like i said the first 4 years are easy, what gives me the pressure is my masters, working and attending to masters at same time, not really like its hard in study but rather hard in time schedules and stuff...
