2.6 update client error

I kept getting this error upon updating my client. got any idea how to pass through this?



EDIT: Also i kept on clicking the repair button but it gonna stop still when it reach this error.

Just click repair =) It will fix it itself.

Thanks. But the thing is i've been clicking repair for like 8 times now and it's still the same error that'll pop out.

 

yeah.. i got the same error...after i finished updateing it ....it says i have to repair...but when i click repair, it says i have to download almost 4g of data =500hours????? wtf..... so i did cancel repair for now and when i check version of aion in aion folder, its still the same, ver 2.5.5......if this continues, guess i wont play aion for a long time.......grrrrrr.....just like the last update.....amf

 

l always get this error every update. and the same file pak..got no choice i think but do re DL and install aion (Clean) jesshh

i clicked on repair and wa-la, it worked ;o

maybe try closing the whole thing and repatch it ? o_o

 

If the auto-repair does not work. Then I would suggest manually deleting the file that it is suggesting is not working.
This would in turn make the launcher / repairer / ect re-download the file itself as a 'repair' to continue the update.

Other than that, you might just have to re-download aion. If anyone else has suggestions go for it. Though I can see this working better than most.

 

delete the Effects_Meshes.pak file and try repair again =x

 

did that already got same problem

 

ok , do this : turn off user account controls. (start, control panel, uac (user account control), uncheck it)

 

try delete the effect file or folder u see it gets error on.
happen to me with the item.pak
and after i removed the data folder and did repair it worked flawless.

 

just patience and click continously the REPAIR button until it fixed itself,..if its not working close ur ncsoft launcher and update it again...same thing repair and repair until its done!

 

I have been deleting that folder for a few hours now and still getting that error.

My UAC is always turned off. Ima try turning it on and off just to check it. hope it works.

try deleting the files that cannot be repaired, ncsoft launcher will re-download it.

 

I hope the patience your referring to can last up to almost 5hours now just clicking repair. Anyway yeah, been clicking the repair button almost 5hours now..ima have to reinstall AION. but it's been like this every update that's why im trying to check and get some ideas from ya guys what's wrong with this so i won't happen the next time.

 

try this man. run your ncsoft as admin, disable your anti virus then hit repair. gud luck man

for some reason, ESET anti virus detected NCSoft updates as conspicuous files, so i had my folder excluded from checking while it was repairing files, now delete the files that cannot be repaired, then do repair client(Consistency Check) to re-check all the files.

 

I had to practically reinstall AION it's all good now..i'm logged in now..Thanks GUys!
