I`m pretty new to the server, so I got some questions.

1) Can you fuse weapons on here?

2) I just tried purchasing an ABG accesory in game from 41 plats and 370k AP... but it says I`m not allowed to purchase it. What`s up with that?

 

1) yes you can
2) you cant purchace any ABG ingame only on the webshop for credits the ABG ingame is just a visual bug

 

Oh ok thanks, so honestly what exactly are the platinum medals for? Sure the GPP set is good, but the EGT is easier to get, and much better then. Oh well, I guess EGT it is .

 

plat medals can be used for APP/GPP sets, accessories, and weapons, but not abg the APP weapons are great for fusing and the accessories are nice as well

 

the GPP/APP sets arent as good as EGT/EAT the only things that are worth getting are

APP/GPP weaps or accesories

 

i wouldn't suggest staying on this server tho.
'cept you like getting facerolled by the uncountable bugs.

Yeah I already got my ABG tome from voting, I guess I`m gonna waste AP and plat medals on accesories and gold medals on armor. Kind of dissapointed though that you can`t farm the ABG sets.

as for the bugs they are all being worked on ^^ no server is perfect when you find a pvserver with absolutely no bugs let me know

 

I'm not sure that's correct. Let's look at sorcs for example. If you are going to get e50, you need to break the set anyway for cast speed gloves. This means you are only going to benifit from the 3/5 set effect, which is 78 MB. Let's compare the 3 parts you will get which is tunic, legs and boots.

If you look at that, APP is quite a bit better than E50 for a sorc and an SM. It's class dependent, but L50 gear is definitely not better than APP as a rule.

E50 is better for a Templar and some other classes that I can't be bothered looking into, but yeah, it depends =P.

 

im a horrible sm/sorc wasnt aware of APP/GPP being better for them but learn something new everyday xD
im mainly scouts and in their case i find EGT/EAT to be better

 

Yeah, I think us clothies and clerics are the only ones who APP is better for anyway. So by majority conclusion you were right =P.

but yes youre right i am too lazy to level as for gear i actually could care less about if i did play retail itd just be the leveling that would be a pain for me

 

it's different for every individual - but can't handle retail how come? they have both the same engine, graphics and just that retail has more players in sanctum/pande and/or balaurea.

actually leveling on retail got easy as hell.. lots of events you're able to get 40+ in no time.

as for me i lag at small zergs here in gamez so couldnt imagine on retail

I played retail for a year and 9 months. The reason I quit is because it was going to become impossible to compete in PvP against the PvE heroes who farmed AP all day every day in instances. It's not laziness when it takes 6 months of constant playtime to get ABG gear. If ABG was attainable from pure PvP I would never have quit. Before you ask, I had practically max Sorc gear pre 2.5 release.


I wanted to PvP, nothing more, nothing less and getting ABG from that isn't feasible. I also intend to play GW2 and didn't see the point in spending the next 4 months grinding AP only to quit half way through. You can't PvP at high rank on retail, which means barely PvP'ing if you are trying to get gear. So, I sold my account, pocketed the cash and started playing on a private server for free.
